Morning Walk in Camella Tagbilaran
I remember the last time that Matti and I walked around Camella Homes was more than a year ago, it was in January 2022 when we came to Tagbilaran right in the middle of the crisis because of typhoon Odette. My husband had to work and it's only in Tagbilaran City that we could somehow get a good internet connection. However, the sad thing was that Matti got sick so the day after we walked him around the neighborhood, we had to bring him to the hospital and spent three days in the city.
So after that, it took me a year to bring Matti back here. We came to the city this time and spent a few days because my husband has to work on their annual physical exam requirement. The problem though was that the doctor just had surgery so he have to wait again for a few days so since it was Valentine's Day the next day, we decided to stay and just have a staycation at a resort in Panglao which I'll share in the future.
Now, the morning before we headed to the resort for the staycation, we went around the Camella Homes subdivision again. This is where we would always stay when in the city as my older brother has a property here and no one lives in it at this point.
As we were walking, my husband took with him our Fujifilm camera and took photos of Matti. I am sharing these images here and although I was not the one taking these pictures, I was involved in looking for an angle on where to take the shots, and most importantly, I was making sure that Matti was safe during the photo walk.
Kids, as usual, tend to test our patience, Matti would run around, hop on the road lines, would even attempt to cross the road, and won't let us hold him by the hand, in short, he was being a kid! The only thing though was that there were vehicles every now and then. And it's now very hard to capture this child's attention when we call him so we can take a photo. He would ignore us or when he's already at a spot where we will start clicking the shutter, he'd be running away! So, it was important to be ready and be quick in taking photos, the only problem as well was that the lens used is a manual lens.
I am happy though that the neighborhood now is much more alive than during the pandemic. Now, I can see homeowners walking around, and jogging, and elders were also there doing their morning walk. We saw some who were playing basketball. The pool is already filled with water and even the day before we went for a walk, there were some people at the pool. Then we also saw how it's noisier now, vehicles were out early for their children's school and so on. It's very much normal now and I am happy to see that during this walk.
That's it for today! Thanks for reading!
