Tunes From The Old Days.......TTT

Hello music lovers, I welcome you to my blog again.

This Tuesday I decided to do something different from the usual. I went back to the days of my youth, I mean where I used to reside before leaving for another area.

This area is popularly called a ghetto city because the area was filled with goons, louts, and rascals. Some of them decided to make something of themselves through music.

So without further ado, let me present my three tunes for this week. Threetunestuesday is proudly sponsored by @ablaze.

  1. Run run run by Terry G.

This song was quite popular in those days in Ajegunle. I'm talking about over ten years ago. The song is about determination and not allowing anyone to overtake you on your journey of success...the only way anyone can overtake you on your journey is if that person is not in his or her right senses, haha. Why would you abandon your journey to come and run my race...it's abnormal. Also, the song has a danceable beat that will cause you to move your feet and swing your arms. You can't sit down for this because you need to run, run, run.

  1. No condition is permanent in African China.

This is another nice song that speaks about the condition of others and the song teaches contentment and hard work. Some persons are stumbling blocks to others lifting...this is so sad. Why not allow your neighbor to excel, just as you have Excel? In life nothing is permanent. The earth rotates, one man can be rich today and poor tomorrow..try not to laugh at anyone because even our fingers are not equal.

  1. Showkey by Daddy Showkey.

You can't sit down for this one o. The legwork is pretty easy. All you need to do is bend your waist, part your legs, and move it back and front, hehe. This song used to attract many of us as teenagers. We gathered and competed with each other to see who would get the best leg work. You can also join in and compete with those around you to see who can get better leg work.

This is it for this week. Thank you for listening and reading. Catch you all next week on Tuesday

Omo!
When I see people talking about these old jams, it makes me feel highhhhh.

The Terry G's Run Run Run, although it's old but it never dies. The maaadness in it makes it a frequently used song 😄
