Espero que tengan un excelente día, comunidad Hive Food. Quiero compartirles algunas imágenes de mi reciente visita al Madison Grill en Orizaba, Veracruz, México. Por el nombre, seguramente habrán notado que es un lugar que ofrece distintos tipos de cortes de carne, pero ese no es mi caso. Normalmente visito este lugar con mi familia para disfrutar de las deliciosas hamburguesas que sirven aquí.

El menú está impreso en un código QR que puede ser escaneado con tu celular. En caso de no tener un celular para escanearlo, el mesero te presta una tableta donde se encuentra el menú. Como comentario adicional, el menú electrónico es relativamente nuevo en el lugar, ya que se implementó durante la pandemia del Covid con la finalidad de evitar que las personas tuvieran contacto con el menú.

I hope you are having a great day, Hive Food community. I want to share with you some pictures of my recent visit to the Madison Grill in Orizaba, Veracruz, Mexico. From the name, you may have noticed that it is a place that offers different types of meat cuts, but that is not my case. I usually visit this place with my family to enjoy the delicious burgers they serve here.

The menu is printed on a QR code that can be scanned with your cell phone. In case you don't have a cell phone to scan it, the waiter lends you a tablet where the menu is located. As a side note, the electronic menu is relatively new to the place, as it was implemented during the Covid pandemic in order to prevent people from having contact with the menu.

Retomando el tema principal, como suele suceder en la mayoría de lugares, ya existen hamburguesas establecidas en el menú que suelen ser las especialidades de la casa, pero lo interesante aquí es que puedes crear tu propia hamburguesa con hasta 12 ingredientes (sin costo extra), tal como indica el menú. Personalmente, suelo pedir la hamburguesa de carne de pollo; después de probar las otras, considero que esa es la mejor.

Para elegir la hamburguesa, primero seleccionas el tipo de carne, que como se muestra en la imagen del menú suele haber 5 opciones. Luego, escoges el tipo de pan, que puede ser brioche o parmesano. Continuamos con los complementos, que pueden ser papas fritas o chips de camote, y finalizamos seleccionando los 12 ingredientes de la hamburguesa. Sinceramente, no recuerdo cuáles fueron mis 12 ingredientes, pero entre los que puedo recordar estaban: mayonesa, tocino, cebolla frita, aro de cebolla, queso manchego, guacamole y queso amarillo.

Otro dato interesante es que puedes darle el nombre que desees a tu creación de hamburguesa. Cuando te la llevan a la mesa, la presentan como 'Hamburguesa Julian', en mi caso.

Para finalizar la comida, me pedi un café y un postre para compartir con mi esposa. Lo que no sabia, era que el postre ya incluía café, por lo que terminé consumiendo doble parcion de café, cosa que no me desagrada para nada 😄.

Returning to the main topic, as it usually happens in most places, there are already established burgers on the menu that are usually the house specialties, but the interesting thing here is that you can create your own burger with up to 12 ingredients (at no extra cost), as indicated on the menu. Personally, I usually order the chicken burger; after trying the others, I consider that one the best.

To choose the burger, you first select the type of meat, which as shown in the menu image there are usually 5 options. Then, you choose the type of bread, which can be brioche or parmesan. We continue with the sides, which can be fries or sweet potato chips, and we finish by selecting the 12 ingredients of the burger. Honestly, I don't remember what my 12 ingredients were, but among the ones I can remember were: mayonnaise, bacon, fried onion, onion ring, manchego cheese, guacamole and yellow cheese.

Another interesting fact is that you can name your burger creation whatever you want. When they bring it to your table, they present it as 'Hamburguesa Julian', in my case.

To end the meal, I ordered a coffee and a dessert to share with my wife. What I didn't know was that the dessert already included coffee, so I ended up consuming a double portion of coffee, which I don't dislike at all 😄.

Finalizo este post diciendo que el lugar es muy agradable. La música tiene un volumen muy bueno, lo suficiente para escucharse en todo el lugar sin llegar a ser molesta. En la parte de la terraza (donde estuve), la iluminación de los focos hizo un excelente trabajo a medida que oscurecía, sobre la comida, !estuvo muy rica! Espero pronto compartir imágenes y una reseña de los buenos cortes de carne que sirven aquí.

I end this post by saying that the place is very nice. The music has a very good volume, enough to be heard throughout the place without being annoying. In the terrace part (where I was), the lighting of the spotlights did an excellent job as it was getting dark, about the food, it was very tasty! I hope soon to share pictures and a review of the good cuts of meat they serve here.
