Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides- Review
Usually the first movie of this kind of series becomes a classic and it is the most beautiful, but as someone who has watched the whole series of pirates of the Caribbean, all the movies are good, but this is the most beautiful. I admired the script. As always, there are very good jokes and places to laugh. The events flow very well. It is definitely a movie you should watch with the series.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is a 2011 American fantasy swashbuckler film, the fourth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series and the sequel to At World's End (2007). It is directed by Rob Marshall and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The film stars Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow, Penélope Cruz as Angelica, Ian McShane as Blackbeard, and Geoffrey Rush as Captain Hector Barbossa.
The plot follows Captain Jack Sparrow as he searches for the Fountain of Youth, encountering the infamous pirate Blackbeard and his daughter Angelica along the way. The film was released in May 2011 and received mixed reviews from critics.
Jack Sparrow is on a quest to find the Fountain of Youth, a mythical spring that is said to grant eternal youth to those who drink from it. Along the way, he encounters Blackbeard (Ian McShane), a notorious pirate with a reputation for cruelty and the ability to control the sea. Blackbeard is in search of the Fountain of Youth as well, and he forces Jack to join him on the journey.
Accompanying Jack and Blackbeard is Angelica (Penélope Cruz), Blackbeard's daughter and a former love interest of Jack's. Angelica is a complex character who is torn between her loyalty to her father and her feelings for Jack. Cruz does a great job of bringing depth and emotion to the character, and her chemistry with Depp is undeniable.
The film also features the return of Captain Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush), a character from the previous Pirates of the Caribbean films. Barbossa is now working for the British Navy and is tasked with stopping Blackbeard's quest for the Fountain of Youth. Rush is always a delight to watch, and his portrayal of Barbossa is as entertaining as ever.
Many reviewers felt that the plot was too similar to the previous films, with Jack Sparrow once again searching for a mythical object and encountering various pirates and supernatural elements.
Some reviewers felt that the character of Angelica was underdeveloped and not as interesting as other female characters in the series.
Despite these criticisms, the film was a financial success, grossing over $1 billion at the box office. The special effects, particularly the action sequences and the design of Blackbeard's ship, were widely praised.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides is a fun and entertaining film that is sure to satisfy fans of the series. The strong supporting cast, and the impressive special effects and action sequences. I recommend you to watch it, enjoy.

Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors and this was a great movie with many sequels and in all of them John Depp gave his best performance.
I like Blackbeard and I really think a good choice would have been to leave Jack as a supporting character giving more development to Blackbeard's story and character, but I understand that Jack is the beloved in this saga and everyone wants him as the main character, I just say that this could have been a very good choice !PIZZA
