Together, they form a whole.
I couldn't agree more. To fully understand ourselves, we strike a balance between connecting to others and ourselves. In social setting, we're able to see a different perspective of what the world is, while in alone time, we understand our true selves trough reflection and introspection.
I find it confusing as to why others would pity those who relish being alone most of the time.
Those who pity those who spend more alone time does not know the value of solitude. The world always encourages us to be social but it is in our alone time that we truly understand life. But then again, we need to strike a balance.
