KAVANAH HAVEN RESORT | ONE OF THE HIDDEN GEMS IN BUKIDNON

This was a new tourist spot in Bukidnon, and my mommy (aunt) wanted to experience the place after seeing pictures of it on Facebook, I have been curious about the place because she kept mentioning it every time we passed by going to Davao City.

This day we decided to experience the place, and from what I observed it was a 2 hour drive away from the city.

my daddy and mommy went ahead with us and informed us about the steep hill road and that my cousin (the driver) should be very careful about it. Upon arrival, they weren't kidding about it, you'll get a little intimidated by their downhill road too, but quite disappointed at the part that they only have one entrance and exit, I can already imagine the traffic during summer vacation.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who has thought to comment about their steep road,

If you don't have a private car, you have to wait for a golf cart to get you to the entrance, which is a free ride.

B'TEAVON RESTAURANT

They have an entrance fee of ₱399/$7.17 per head which includes snacks and a tour of the place, truth be told I think it's a little expensive but I thought nah, maybe they have some fun activities at the place and was ready to find out after our meal.

While waiting for our food to arrive, I roamed around the restaurant and took pictures, admiring everything, from the design which by the way is very aesthetic, and very Instagram-able, I loved seeing this side of Bukidnon, I also think it's a good business place.

If I'm not together with my family and just alone or have a date with someone I'd choose this seat here for the view, very romantic ~

I went back to the table after our snacks arrived, truth be told, it got me wondering if the 399 per head was worth it with only this snack,

@hiddenblade the design of the cup here reminds me of the place you also went to, do you think they have the same owner? or it's their signature style in the area 🤔

we ordered another food since the snack wasn't enough to satisfy our tummy, pizza, and chicken with rice, The food was just okay, just normal taste, and quite expensive too but given the place is luxurious I've decided not to be surprised by it.

after eating we started our tour of the place, we decided to start at the back of the restaurant where we saw they have a gazebo and white capsules that you can stay in for the night, I forgot how much it costs for a night but you can see it in their Facebook page. One thing is for sure their minimum night stay is around 200-300 dollars a night.

we didn't get to see what the capsule looked like inside but imagining at night without that curtain, star gazing would be the most awesome thing to do before sleeping ~

after strolling the back of the restaurant, we decided to stroll around the front view which we are also heading to where our cars were parked. I always hear people saying that the place has the same vibe in Switzerland, I don't know if it's true, since I haven't been there, but maybe the way the place was designed.

IMG20231015154512.jpg

well... it doesn't look like I'm in Philippines or Bukidnon with this view, I can already imagine staying here at night, being cozy and trying to get warm with the cold night since this side of Bukidnon is very cold, it gets foggy at night and morning especially when it rains.

I swear it wasn't me 🤣

showing you my photography skills ~

To be honest, the first thing I looked for when we arrived in this place was a swimming pool, who doesn't have a pool when the place is a hotel right? I'm a swimming pool kind of person, you see hahaha

I mean it's also named a resort so I'm expecting it, or maybe they are still thinking of constructing one, it would be nice if they had, but given that this place is still new and was built last year, then there is so much to improve and develop with the place

there wasn't much activity to do other than just viewing their beautiful landscape, restaurant, and hotel designs.

well, it was a good experience and was happy to spend it with the family, maybe next time we will be back in this place and eventually try to stay one night and experience the beauty of the place.

Anyway, do you think the 399PHP/7.17 USD per head was worth it?

THANK YOU FOR READING!
