In the vicinity of the dark Pancorbo gorge, not far from that beautiful region, rich in wine and Romanesque art, which is the Llanada Alavesa, a small town, which, in ancient times, responded to the curious name of Término, seems anchored in an eternal time loop, the vision of which produces, in the mind of the traveler who one day drops by there, the feeling that, due to one of those curious and inexplicable paradoxes, destiny has set a subtle trap for him, making him go back to ancient times. genuinely medieval.

Its current name, Santa Gadea del Cid, also contributes to a large extent to the fact that, letting itself be carried away by the memory of the flowery legends contained in the Ballads, it thinks, when seeing the vestiges of its ancient castle, the remains of its desolate walls and the peculiar architecture of its houses, which is found in that other Santa Gadea, where it is assumed that Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar, the Cid Campeador, forced the king, Alfonso VI, to swear that he had had nothing to do with the murder of his brother, King Sancho II of Castile. And to give more charisma and color to this place, already naturally picturesque and charismatic, a solitary hermitage, dedicated to the Virgin of the Eras and located outside the town walls, leads one to assume, in this strategic place, the presence, in forgotten times, of some knights, the Templars, who, after centuries of their disappearance, still continue to arouse unusual interest. Circumstances and paradoxes, which, after all, liven up the cultural aspect of any trip worth its salt.

Well, but I look at Ibadan, which has many remarkably modern buildings. It seems like an interesting and very pretty place too.
