[ENG-SPN] Lost paradises / Paraísos perdidos
There are still lost paradises, as the American writer, James Hilton, would say, which, beyond the horizon, seem to be grateful for the miracle of their existence in the shelter of an imposing mountain chain, which not only protects them, but also keeps them happily away. of the miseries of the world and where life, humble but rewarding, is always a poem to beauty and transcendentality.
It does not matter what name they are given, since their essence is always the same and like a dream, their call has been lodged in the human heart, along with the hopes and most fervent desires of men. Along with the Utopia of Thomas More, the Shangri-La or Happy Valleys of India or even together with the wonderful Tibetan legends about the forbidden city of Shambhalla, there is the particular desire of each individual to one day find their lost paradise.

Of course lost paradises abound, and I'm not talking about Eden. I think it would a great joy to rediscover some of those lost paradises. Some of them could contain untold treasures or hold secrets that could help mankind. Thanks for writing.
I sincerely believe that we have the true treasures in sight, but it happens that, generally blind, we do not see them and when we have them in sight, we do not appreciate them. I'll give you an example: everyone talks about the fabulous treasure of the Templars, imagining that they were incalculable riches. But very few see, however, that the true treasure of the Temple was the magnificent architectural legacy that was bequeathed to us and in which most of that unfindable fortune was invested. As the old saying goes: all that glitters is not gold. But I understand and appreciate your comment.
I’ve heard of James Hilton so many times but never checked any of his works
I think he is highly rated and I should check his works these days
Thanks for the amazing pictures
James Hilton, in reality, was a little-known writer, except for the detail that, in 1937, one of the great Hollywood directors, named Frank Capra, brought the best-known of his novels to the screens: Lost Horizons. He did it, furthermore, as an anti-war plea, which, unfortunately, did not serve or served very little to the madness of a world that was on the eve of embarking on the terrible vicissitudes of the Second World War.

It is a very pleasant place to live. A true paradise, although not exactly lost, except for its privileged location. Thank you very much for your comment and best regards.
