[ENG-SPN] Carousels and cathedrals: the magic of resilience
Toledo, for its uniqueness, for its notable antiquity and above all, for that unequivocal strength that has always given it its indisputable multiculturalism, continues to be one of those fortunate Spanish cities, deservedly classified as a World Heritage Site. Precisely, within the monumental wealth that makes it a priceless time capsule, where numerous architectures coexist with the harmony that decadence always grants, it stands out, for being, basically, the center of its metaphorical cultural labyrinth, its impressive Primate Cathedral.
A cathedral, which not only enjoys the popularity of being the largest of the Spanish cathedrals, but is also the one that accumulates the most artistic treasures inside a monumental structure, which seems to have been made to defy the eternity. It is also usually an endearingly picturesque detail that every year, when the icy winds of December carry with them the festive joy of popular percussion that always accompanies those heralds of Christmas, which are Christmas carols, another element, perhaps less grandiose, but, undoubtedly, more emotional, it returns to us, like another formidable resilient that it is, the magical harmony of the memory of past times, which, without necessarily being better, do, however, bring with them endearing memories, which remind us of moments of childish happiness: the carousels.
