[ENG-SPN] A legacy on the roads / Un legado en los caminos

Today, speed, also understood as that fratricidal race against time, which makes haste something as pleasant as a trip should be, means that travelers are barely aware that the places through which they travel dizzying speed, they are more than just roads that must take you to a predetermined destination: with paths of History.

A history and paths that make clear, on both sides of that dark asphalt, the faith and skill of some ancestors who left notable records of their craftsmanship and wisdom, in sacred constructions of magnificent and imposing presence, which still today, after centuries and although few stop to appreciate them for what they are really worth, continue to stand, as the faithful testimony of a true legacy, which represents values and traditions, which should never be let lose.

Hoy la velocidad, entendida, también, como esa fratricida carrera contra el tiempo, que hace que la prisa nos marque algo tan placentero como debía de ser un viaje, consigue que los viajeros apenas sean conscientes de que los lugares por los que se desplazan a velocidad de vértigo, son algo más que simples carreteras que han de llevarles a un destino predeterminado: con caminos de la Historia.

Una Historia y unos caminos, que dejan bien patente, a uno y a otro lado de ese oscuro asfalto, la fe y la habilidad de unos antepasados que fueron dejando notables reseñas de su artesanía y de su sabiduría, en unas construcciones sagradas, de magnífica e imponente presencia, que todavía hoy, al cabo de los siglos y aunque pocos se detengan a apreciarlos en lo que realmente valen, continúan en pie, como el fiel testimonio de un verdadero legado, que representa unos valores y unas tradiciones, que nunca se deberían dejar perder.
