What prayers can do

What about you? Ask yourself, how many times have you prayed today?
In case we don’t know, we must always be in the mood for prayer all the time!!
The Bible has already said “pray without ceasing”

The little challenges you’re having may keep on suppressing you because you have not sought the face of God fervently. Prayer is the only way we can communicate with God, although God has assured us that he knows all our problems even before we ask. Still, we must draw his attention to them.

Imagine the world we are living in, almost millions of people are seeking the face of God every minute, praying to him to attend to their needs. If you do not seek him, he may not give you the attention you deserve. Unless you talk to him via prayers, your problem will remain the same!!

At times, what can hinder God from answering your prayer can be sin!! Yes, your sin. See what Isaiah said in Isaiah 59:1-2. 1. Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. 59:2 But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you so that he will not hear.

Your sin will make the evil formed against you prosper since God who is your shield and fortress is no longer there for you!! This is so because God hates sin and has nothing to do with iniquity. Unless you will come clean, he won't listen to your prayers as it is written in the book of proverbs; the sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the LORD: but the prayer of the upright is his delight. Proverb 15:8

So my dear friends, let's seek the face of God always. He's ready to answer us if we can approach him with a faithful heart. Whatsoever that is troubling you can be solved when you involved God. All you need to do is to tell him in prayers. God will never disappoint you for the Bible said "Those who trust in the Lord will not be disappointed". - First Peter 2:6.
