Welcome my dear buried travelers of the internet and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, usually I like to follow a logical order to watch the films, however with this film titled “Pet Sematary” the opposite turned out to be because it does For a while I reviewed the most recent addition to its franchise, which is why today it's time to do things right by giving the first installment a look and appreciate how the beginning of all this was. Without further ado, get ready to revive your pets because we are about to begin.
Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros enterrados del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, usualmente me gusta seguir un orden lógico para ver los filmes, sin embargo con la presente cinta titulada “Pet Sematary” resultó lo contrario debido a que hace un tiempo reseñé la incorporación más reciente a su franquicia, es por ello que hoy toca hacer las cosas bien dándole un visto a la primera entrega y apreciar como fue el inicio de todo esto. Sin más que agregar prepárense para revivir a sus mascotas pues estamos por comenzar.
Pet Sematary was released in 1989, it is based on the book of the same name by Stephen King published in 1983, directed by Mary Lambert and produced by Paramount Pictures, it has a duration of 1 hour and 38 minutes. It is a supernatural horror film, the story centers on Louis, a doctor who moves with his family to a house in the town of Ludlow, they quickly become friends with their neighbor across the road, a friendly old man named Judson, The thing is that as soon as he knows them, he warns them to be careful since trucks always travel on that road at excess speed, which is the reason why many pets have died and that there is an exclusive cemetery for them, despite the old man's warning. The family cat dies after being run over, after seeing the anguish of the father of the family when he does not know how to explain the feline's death to his daughter, the old man tells him that there is a way to bring him back to life, what he did not take into account is that this noble action at first would be the beginning of endless misfortunes.
Pet Sematary fue estrenada en 1989, se encuentra basada en el libro homónimo de Stephen King publicado en 1983, dirigida por Mary Lambert y producida por Paramount Pictures, cuenta con una duración de 1 hora y 38 minutos. Es un filme de terror sobrenatural, la historia se centra en Louis un doctor que se muda con su familia a una casa en el pueblo de Ludlow, rápidamente se hacen amigo de su vecino del otro lado de la carretera, un anciano amigable llamado Judson, el asunto es que apenas los conoce les advierte que tengan cuidado puesto que por esa carretera siempre transitan camiones a exceso de velocidad siendo esta la causa de que muchas mascotas hayan fallecido y que existiese un cementerio exclusivo para estas, pese a la advertencia del anciano el gato de la familia fallece atropellado, tras ver la angustia del padre de familia al no saber cómo explicarle a su hija la muerte del felino el viejo le dice que hay una forma de devolverle la vida, lo que este no tomo en cuenta es que esta acción noble en un primer momento sería el inicio de un sinfín de desgracias.

The soundtrack is quite pleasant, it has the good thing that on more than one occasion it knows how to make different situations in the film tense, and, consequently, give them an aura of intrigue that suits them very well because they adopt a very more interesting.
La banda sonora es bastante agradable, la misma tiene la bondad de que en más de una ocasión sabe cómo hacer tensas diferentes situaciones del filme, y, por consecuencia, darles un halo de intriga que les queda muy bien debido a que adoptan un carácter mucho más interesante.
The construction of the world is good in general terms, from the beginning it is made clear through its context that the town is surrounded by a certain supernatural essence, the above fits very well with the different dark and gloomy scenarios that are constantly shown, At the same time, the good use of lights and others makes the same setting completely change its vibe and can cause an interesting intrigue that it did not have at first, being something that favors the plot.
La construcción del mundo está bien en líneas generales, desde el vamos se deja claro mediante su contexto el hecho de que el pueblo se encuentra rodeado de cierta esencia sobrenatural, lo anterior encaja muy bien con los diferentes escenarios oscuros y lúgubres que se muestran constantemente, a su vez, el buen uso de luces y demás hace que un mismo escenario cambie completamente su vibra y pueda causar una intriga interesante que no tuviese en un primer momento, siendo algo que favorece a la trama.
The plot has an interesting rhythm, it takes its time to give a good context about the implications that exist in the town, since from the beginning supernatural elements are introduced, all this generates anticipation in the viewer for the following events, In terms of terror, there is not much to highlight because as such the film is not very scary. Narratively it has a good structure, the film never pulls any concept out of its sleeve and seeks to explain its logic in a good way, this exploration being what makes all the events organic and plausible. On the other hand, it is worth highlighting that the film It does not take risks with any kind of twist or anything similar since its intention is never oriented towards bringing out something unforeseen or unexpected revelations. Although it does not have many terrifying scenes, the film manages to remain interesting at all times, this is due to the interesting exploration that it constantly carries out on different elements that end up having narrative weight.
La trama tiene un ritmo interesante, la misma se toma su tiempo para ir dando un buen contexto sobre las implicaciones que hay en el pueblo siendo que desde el vamos se introducen elementos sobrenaturales, todo esto va generando anticipación en el espectador para los acontecimientos siguientes, de cara al terror no hay mucho que destacar debido a que como tal la cinta no es muy atemorizante que digamos. Narrativamente tiene una buena estructura, la película nunca se saca ningún concepto de la manga y busca explicar su lógica de buena forma, siendo dicha exploración la que hace que todos los acontecimientos sean orgánicos y plausibles, por otro lado, es menester destacar que el filme no se arriesga con ninguna clase de giro ni nada que se le asemeje puesto que su intención nunca se encuentra orientada a sacar algo de imprevisto o revelaciones inesperadas. Aunque no tenga muchas escenas aterradoras la película se las apaña para mantenerse interesante en todo momento, lo anterior se debe a la exploración interesante que realiza constantemente sobre diferentes elementos que terminan teniendo peso narrativo.
Surprisingly, some of their characters are worked in a decent way, both Jud and Louis show different emotional facets regarding the issue of reanimating pets, things that range from doubt to absolute regret, all this makes them feel much more interesting, although I have to mention that it is Louis who feels better worked because he is the one with the best characterization and the one who must face the greatest number of consequences for said actions, it does not present an exaggeratedly complex construction but it is decent enough enough to empathize with him on more than one occasion. The rest of the characters do not have as much individual work and their presence is mostly used to give greater relevance to the aforementioned duo.
Sorprendentemente algunos de sus personajes se encuentran trabajados de forma decente, tanto Jud como Louis muestran diferentes facetas emocionales con respecto al tema de la reanimación de las mascotas, cosas que van desde la duda hasta el arrepentimiento absoluto, todo esto hace que se sientan mucho más interesantes, aunque he de mencionar que es Louis el que se siente mejor trabajado debido a que es el que mejor caracterización tiene y el que debe afrontar la mayor cantidad de consecuencias por dichas acciones, no presenta una construcción exageradamente compleja pero sí es lo suficientemente decente como para empatizar con él en más de una ocasión. El resto de personajes no tienen tanto trabajo individual y su presencia se utiliza mayormente es para darle mayor relevancia al dúo antes mencionado.
Pet Sematary is interesting not because it has a huge horror factor but because it knows how to make good use of the human feeling regarding death. It has an aura of mystery that is interesting and that is developed in a good way to which makes the film much more engaging, its slightly slow pace gives it a good margin to work on the different elements that will be important later and despite this it does not feel boring at any time. It is for all of the above that it deserves 3 stars out of 7, it is interesting the way in which the concept of facing the consequences of the fit and not interfering in the natural course of things is worked, it is not the eighth wonder of the world but for It's at least worth a look.
Pet Sematary resulta interesante no por el hecho de tener un enorme factor de terror sino por el hecho de saber dar un buen uso al sentir humano con respecto a la muerte, tiene un halo de misterio que resulta interesante y que es desarrollado de buena forma para que haga a la cinta mucho más atrapante, su ritmo un poco lento le da un buen margen para ir trabajando los diferentes elementos que serán importantes más adelante y pese a ello no se siente aburrida en ningún momento. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3 estrellas de 7, resulta interesante la forma en que se trabaja el concepto de afrontar las consecuencias de los aptos y el no interferir en el curso natural de las cosas, no es la octava maravilla del mundo pero por lo menos vale la pena echarle un vistazo.

Me gusta mucho ese escritor, espero esta semana empezar la novela titulada: "23/11/63", que trata del efecto mariposa en los viajes en el tiempo.
Y al igual que en esta obra que usted analiza, una buena intención termina por acarrear un sin fin de desgracias.
Suelen decir: "el camino al infierno está forrado de buenas intenciones"
Me parece maravilloso que hayas citado uno de mis dichos favoritos, nunca he leído una libro de King pero sin lugar a dudas está en mi lista de pendientes.
