My Office Chair Arrived!!! [Unboxing and Assembling with Papa]

What's up friends!!!
It's Shei here and I'm so happy because the chair that I ordered finally arrived. It's amazing how it arrived exactly on the expected date as this rarely happens. I'll be sharing the unboxing and the assembling process on this post, so I hope you enjoy it~! ^^

As I shared in my previous post, I originally exchanged some HIVE to buy this so I can have a more comfortable time during my classes as well as when I'm writing my blog posts. However, mama and papa insisted on paying me back for this as they already planned to buy a chair for me once they got extra budget. And because of that, I was able to buy a new computer monitor out of the HIVE I exchanged and some of my savings. I'm feeling so grateful because these new things I and my parents bought are great investment as they'll give me a more comfortable time at work. No more back pain.

If I bonded with my mama yesterday by giving her a haircut, today is my and my papa's bonding time. Whenever there are things to assemble or stuff to fix at home, we usually do them together. And today is one of those days! Let's start with the unboxing!

It was super hot today! This arrived at around 1PM. The delivery man was so kind and friendly, so we gave him a tip and some ice cream to cool down during the hot day!

We then transfered to my room so it's easier and cooler to do the unboxing as well as the assembling. Here's my papa getting rid of the bubble wrap.

As you we opened the box, we can see both the seat and the backrest as well as the other stuff we need to assemble like the wheels, the levers for reclining the seat as well as adjusting its height, some screws, etc.

image.png

There is also this assemble instruction inside the box. It's so simple and comprehensible, so I thought we'd be able to assemble it easily. ^^ And... we actually did. :)

image.png

We started by attaching the wheels... it's from bottom to top, I suppose. :)

Then, we inserted this tube where we're going to attach the seat later on.

Before attaching the seat, we have to attach these levers securely under it. The one on the inner side is for height adjustments. There are three different heights to choose from and I chose the middle one as it is perfect for me. It's the most comfortable... and it fits in relation to my computer table. The other one is for reclining. I don't think I'd be using this that much, though. :)

It's finally attached to the stand and wheels. Yay~!!! Ohh! Do you see the white monoblock chair behind? That's the chair I used to use and I just placed a pillow on the backrest, so my back won't be that painful.

Next up would be screwing this T-tube on the backrest. Papa did the screwing while I helped him hold it in place. What's with that expression, papa? ahahah

We then attached the tube to the lever and tightened it. And it's the chair! lol All that's left now is to screw the armrests. :)

Papa did one side and I did the other. :) Hello papa!

And the assembling of my office chair is finally done! Yaaay~! The height of the armrests is just right for me. The cushion is also soft. It also looks sturdy for its price. It isn't some high end chair, but it's comfy and soft. I like it! And even if it's leather, it isn't that hot to sit on even without the air conditioner on. As I'm writing this, my A/C is turned off and I'm just using the fan, but it isn't hot. Still very comfy!

This chair also comes with a massager. It's also one of the reasons why I chose this. There are several modes to choose from. There are also various ways to turn it on like using an adapter, connecting it to your PC or simply using a power bank. I really like this feature! ^^

Finally, it's all set up! I'm really grateful to my parents for shouldering the expenses for this chair. This will truly make my work more comfortable. The comfort is 100% better than the monoblock chair. I even feel so comfy as I'm typing right now because I can lean my whole back even my head on the backrest which is an amazing feat. <3 I'm so happy! Thanks a lot mama and papa!

Thanks a lot for your support, too! I won't be having unboxing posts in the days to come, but who knows in the future?! haha I'm trying to save to upgrade my CPU next, so we'll see. Until next time, friends! Have a great one! (^^,)/
