We earned a toal of 55 Crowns for the guild, while each players participating in the brawl earns 3094 Merits and 23.967 SPS each.
Battle Analysis
I was able to sweep all my opponents in Fray 9 Silver League which is Chaos only fray.
1st Battle: Sacrifice for Quora
https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sm_0KyTEqcOyXDn0mav7IQu&ref=jpleron
Ruleset | |
---|---|
Unprotected - Monsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from Abilities or Summoner Buffs. | |
Noxious Fumes - All Monsters start the battle Poisoned. | |
Mana Cap | 26 |
Allowed Splinters | Earth, Dragon |
My Line-up: | |
Summoner | |
Immortalis is an Earth splinter Legendary summoner which has the ability to reduce the max health by 1 to all enemy monsters, and provides Void and Shatter ability to own monsters. The main reason why I choose this Summoner was to counter the magic line-up in case my opponent uses Obsidian as Summoner. Immortalis is one the best Summoner to counter Magic line-up | |
Monsters | |
Mycelic Morphoid is a one mana monster with Thorns ability. I used it as a foddler to absorb some initial attack from enemy. | |
Fungus Flinger is one of the soulbound reward cards that has the Martyr ability. Since all our monsters are affected by Poison, it will be faster for this monster to activate the Martyr effect, increasing the stat of adjacent Monsters. | |
Quora Towershead is our main damage dealer in this battle. Quora Toweshead is a gladius card that has healing ability. It can regenerate the damage dealt by poison each round just by healing itself. Aside from that, since it has Bloodlust ability, it can still increase its stats after killing an enemy. I also placed two monsters with Martyr ability so Qoura can get the additional stats making it more stronger and deadlier | |
Venari Marksrat is also one of the soulbound reward cards that has the Martyr ability from the neutral splinter. Same with Fungus Flinger, since this monster will die easily from pbeing poison, it can trigger the Martyr effect easily | |
Spirit Hoader is a legendary monster with Triage ability and Dispel ability. In the poison rule, Triage can help heal one of the backline monsters. But more importantly, Dispel is the one that made me picked this monster. I was expecting that my opponent will also use the Martyr effect strategy. Dispel can cancel the effect of Martyr and Bloodlust ability which was very crucial as I managed to defeat opponent's Quora Towershead since I was able to remove the buff effects from Martyr and Bloodlust. |
2nd Battle: Battle of the Mages
Ruleset | |
---|---|
Fog of War - Monsters lose the Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity abilities. | |
Briar Patch - All Monsters have the Thorns ability. | |
Mana Cap | 44 |
Allowed Splinters | Water, Earth, Life, Death, Dragon |
My Line-up: | |
Summoner | |
Immortalis is an Earth splinter Legendary summoner which has the ability to reduce the max health by 1 to all enemy monsters, and provides Void and Shatter ability to own monsters. Since using a melee monster is not ideal, we had to chose between a magic attack or ranged attack. I opted to go with Earth splinter with magic line-up. But I intend to use Immortalis to counter any possible heavy mage line-up as well. | |
Monsters | |
Regal Peryton is a magic monster with high speed and Flying ability. I opted to go for this monster since it has higher chance to evade any melee or ranged attacks | |
Quora Towershead is again our main damage dealer in this battle. Quora Toweshead is one of the best gladius card right now. That's why most players really build their strategy with Quora as the main monster. | |
Spirit Hoader is a legendary monster with Triage ability and Dispel ability. Same with the first battle, having a monster with Dispel is really a must in the guild brawls since Gladius card has the Bloodlust ability. Aside from that, the Triage ability helps our Mycelic Slipspawn survive longer by healing it. | |
Doctor Blight is a great legendary monster. It has Affliction ability that can nullify the healing effect as well as the Poison ability to poisoned the target monsters with 50% chance. The Camouflage ability does not help in this match since we have the Fog of war ruleset. | |
Goblin Psychic is an Earth common monster with Tank Heal ability and Affliction ability. Tank Heal helps the monster in the first position to regen health while the Affliction prevents the monster to be healed. This monster is one of the core monsters in Earth's magic line-up | |
Mycelic Slipspawn is an Earth rare monster with Taunt ability and Forcefield ability. Taunt forces the enemy monsters to attack this monster preventing our monster in the front position to take all the damages. Taunt at the backline partnered with Triage ability is one of the most use strategy. |
3rd Battle: Counter Attack!
https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sm_861XQ8yMDdEncTIUjEw5&ref=jpleron
Ruleset | |
---|---|
Counterspell - All Monsters have the Magic Reflect ability. | |
Target Practice - All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability. | |
Mana Cap | 48 |
Allowed Splinters | Water, Life, Death |
My Line-up: | |
Summoner | |
Ilthain is an one of the Riftwatcher Epic summoner which has the ability to return ranged damage to enemy and also give +1 speed to all friendly monsters Since there is the Target Practice ruleset which gives magic and ranged monsters Snipe ability, I planned to counter it using Return Fire. Also, since the ruleset has Counterspell ruleset already, monster with magic attack was not recommended to be use. Magic Reflect and Return Fire will be a good combo to counter 2 out of 3 attack types. I also focused on using ranged attack monsters for my backline since I wanted to avoid using a magic attack monsters due to the Counterspell ruleset | |
Monsters | |
Uriel the Purifier is a great tanky monster. It has Flying ability which increases the chance to evade attacks. The Heal ability gives regeneration ability to Uriel combine it with high health, it was a good tank for first position | |
Corsair Bosun is a good pseudo tank for 2nd position. It has Reach ability so it is possible for this monster to attack even though it is on the second position. It also has the Reflection Shield which prevents it from getting damage from Blast or return damages like Thorn, Magic Reflect or Return Fire. | |
War Pegasus is a souldbound reward card with Flying and Shatter ability. I tend to use monster with Ranged attack instead of magic attack due to the ruleset. | |
Venari Crystalsmith is a reward card with Tank Heal ability for healing the monster in the first position | |
Prismologist is a ranged monster with Blast ability. The Blast allows the adjacent monsters from the target monster to take damage as well. | |
Ajax Lightfoot is our main Gladius card for this battle. It is a ranged monster with high speed |
4th Battle: Earth vs Fire
https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sm_lqJWInB6tcr5a0AnkBst&ref=jpleron
I think you already noticed how I tend to go for Earth splinter as much as possible with Immortalis as my Summoner while using Quora Towershead as my Gladiator. Those two are really my favorites along with the supporting monsters like Goblin Psychic for Tank Heal while using Spirit Hoarder for Triage ability. And of course, Doctor Blight will always be there as long as I have it on my deck. I don't own one, so I just rent it at the market.
5th Battle: Fasy Kill
https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sm_EFnKKaxF6HqhipHtVTZk&ref=jpleron
Ruleset | |
---|---|
Silenced Summoners - Summoners do not give any stat buffs or debuffs or grant/use any abilities. | |
Target Practice - All Ranged and Magic attack Monsters have the Snipe ability. | |
Holy Protection - All Monsters have the Divine Shield ability. | |
Mana Cap | 18 |
Allowed Splinters | Fire, Life, Death |
My Line-up: | |
Summoner | |
Tarsa is a Fire Summoner which provides additional health and melee damage to all friendly monsters. Since we have the Silenced Summoner in effect, summoner's ability does not matter. Only the levels will have an effect and of course, selecting the summoner just to be able to use the element you want. Most of the time, I opted to go for Dragon summoner with the Silenced Summoner ruleset. | |
Monsters | |
Antoid Platoon is our main tank in this battle. It has Shield ability which can reduce the damage from melee or ranged attacks | |
These two monsters Radiated Scorcher with 1 mana cost and Scorch Fiend with 0 mana cost are mainly used as decoy to absorb Opportunity attacks | |
In this battle I tried to use Fire splinter with Fina Voxom as my main Gladiator. My strategy here is to get as much kill for Fina Voxom. This monster has high damage and high speed with the Opportunity ability. The Opportunity ability helps Fina to get an easy kill since it will target monster with the lowest health | |
Doctor Blight has Camouflage ability so it cannot be targeted when this monster is still on the backline. This makes this monster safe will continuously dealing attacks to the enemy. |
6th Battle: Poison Again
https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sm_KDBbWhmaeKCrhgyo1o62&ref=jpleron
Similar with our first brawl battle with the Poison rule in effect, I opted to go for my favorite Gladius card Quora Towershead to do the fighting. This time, we only had 15 mana cap which means we cannot use Immortalis (6 mana cost) and Quora Towershead (10 mana cost) together. Instead, I use Obsidian as my Summoner just to have access to Earth Splinter specifically for Quora.
7th Battle: Qoura strat agains Possibilus's stampede
https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=sm_hylcg05RMW3cnT6WtpeB&ref=jpleron
I used the same line-up as before with the Immortalis and Quora combination, along with the supporting monsters like Fungus Flinger, Goblin Psychic, Spirit Hoarder, Doctor Blight and Mycelic Slipspawn. With the same strategy to force my opponents attack to go to Mycelic Slipspawn with the use of Taunt while healing it using Triage from Spirit Hoarder.
Although we have the Weak Magic ruleset which allow the armor to absorb magic damage, the Shatter ability provided by Immortalis helps on breaking the armors of the opposing monsters instantly after being hit. This is a good counter for monsters with high armor like our opponent's Diemonshark.
On the otherside, our opponent uses Possibilus the Wise as the Summoner to give his melee monsters the Trample ability and Reach ability. Trample allows the monster to attack again after killing their initial target, making it a series of attacks if possible.
We were able to survive thanks to Quora Towershead tankiness as well as the Blind ability provided by Fungus Flinger. Our opponent's monster missed a lot of attacks due to the blind effect.
This is the battle analysis for our guild brawl battles. I hope you learned something by reading this post.

Splinterlands is a digital, collectible card game built on blockchain technology. It is similar in concept to games like Magic the Gathering and Hearthstone where you build up a collection of cards, which all have various different stats and abilities, and use them to battle other players in skill-based matches. By using blockchain technology, players can buy, sell, and trade their digital assets freely just as if they were physical cards, and all transactions are recorded publicly and immutably.
