[ENG/ESP] Art Contest Week 298 - Wave Brood

Hello dear friends of the Alien Art community I hope you are very well, happy Thursday almost Friday, this week I present my interpretation of "Wave Brood", according to its lore this character is a corrupt elemental that is used as a weapon to attack ships, after reading this I thought of making the character in attack position in the middle of the sea creating big waves, well in this work I provided to make the drawing directly in adobe illustrator without making a pencil sketch because it was a simple character to draw, however at the time of coloring if I had some problems because the shape was lost, the truth is I have no practice doing pure liquid character, however I looked for several references to make water texture and I think I more or less achieved something similar to water haha although I did not quite give volume or at least not as I had in my mind, but I think that despite all more or less the character is understood, I really liked the end result, it was not so bad for the first time I draw a character of pure water 😀.

Here I leave the process done in Adobe Illustrator, first I made the outline with the pen tool, then with the pencil tool and gradient I added the water texture, I added a dark background and gray storm clouds and finally a shadow to the whole scene to give it a stormy night look.

Hola queridos amigos de la comunidad de Alien Art espero se encuentren muy bien, feliz jueves casi viernes, esta semana les presento mi interpretación de "Wave Brood", según su lore este personaje es un elemental corrupto que es usado como arma para atacar barcos, después de haber leído esto pensé en hacer el personaje en posición de ataque en medio del mar creando grandes olas, bien en este trabajo prove en hacer el dibujo directo en adobe illustrator sin hacer boceto a lápiz ya que era un personaje sencillo de dibujar, sin embargo al momento de colorear si tuve algunos problemas pues se perdía la forma, la verdad no tengo nada de practica haciendo personaje de puro liquido, sin embargo busque varias referencia para hacer textura de agua y creo que mas o menos logre algo similar al agua jaja aunque no logre del todo darle volumen o por lo menos no como lo tenia en mi mente, pero creo que a pesar de todo mas o menos se entiende el personaje, me gusto mucho el resultado final, no quedo tan mal para ser la primera vez que dibujo un personaje de pura agua 😀

Aquí les dejo el proceso realizado en el programa Adobe Illustrator, primero realice el delineado con la herramienta pluma, luego con la herramienta lápiz y degradado fui agregando la textura del agua, le agregue un fondo oscuro y nubes grises de tormenta y por ultimo una sombra a toda la escena para darle un aspecto de noche tormentosa.
