twelve months of life : WEEK 169

A fraternal embrace to all this beautiful community and to @galenkp the theme that I loved was: If they told me that I have twelve months to live.

At times in my life, I have thought that this could happen to me at some point in time, and I have even experienced it with loved ones. Today, one of the greatest fears of humanity is the thought of death. What will it be like? Or how will I die? It is a reality from which no one escapes, to accept this is one of the most difficult things that can exist and to live the mourning of a loved one who vanishes from our lives, undoubtedly is also difficult.

I think that if my days were numbered on this earth, the first thing I would do is cry intensely and it is not synonymous with cowardice, but a discharge of all that we carry inside and we can not get out many times to look and look good to others, but crying and being able to release what hurts us inside would give us some peace of mind to cope with the situation. From then on every second of every day would be important for me, I would start doing the things that make me happy and maybe I won't be able to accomplish them all because there are few days, but at least I have tried.

One of the first things I would do is to share with my family, but not common moments like the ones we used to share, but rather wonderful moments, where both they and I would enjoy it very much, moments full of joy, hugs, kisses, laughter and above all to say those words that we never say or express. Family is the most important thing we have in life and being with them in the most difficult moments is to feel that warmth for the soul, that comfort that gives us the strength to move forward even if our days are dark. The second thing would be to travel, as far as I can of course, I have always liked to travel and see new places and to do it at that time would be a way of distraction, instead of staying alone and sad in my room thinking that soon I will die.

Another thing I would do is to take a course to play this beautiful instrument, like the guitar and compose a song, maybe I don't have the voice or the time to record a song, but it would be something that would make me very happy.

There are so many things that we would like to do before we die, but we do not know the moment, nor the time that this will happen. That is why we must live each day with intensity, in the much or little we have, be happy, be different, leave a mark on others, because we know when we arrive in this world, but not when we leave, so we must take advantage of each day and take away so many fears, differences and prejudices with our family and embrace them and love them at every moment.
