Grace Varies

God's grace is upon all his children. He gives grace to the sinners that they may repent and turn from their evil parts, and to the holy man that he may not fall to sin. Nevertheless, every individual has different degrees of grace given to him, yet each has Grace sufficient to take care of his needs. We can see this with two scenarios that took place in the scripture.

First was with Zachariah and the angel of God who brought the good news of John the baptist birth. Zachariah was old and the same goes for the wife. To have a child at that old age is not humanly possible, thus he asked the angel in Luke 1:18, "How can I be sure of this? I am an old man and my wife is well along in years". He was made to be dumb because of the question until the birth of John.
The second scenario was with Mary. In Luke 1:34, the angel of God informed Mary that she will conceive and bear a son. Mary being a Virgin and not officially married to Joseph asked, "How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?”. The angel of God then informed her that the Holy Spirit will overshadow her and she will conceive thereafter.

When you look at these two scenarios, you will agree with me that both Zachariah and Mary asked the angel similar questions due to their present state ( Zacharia was too old to have a child, and Mary is single to conceive ) but received different treatments.
In Life, we see some people with less effort succeeding more than those that work very hard. There could be no better explanation for this other than that the grace for the two individuals isn't the same. This doesn't mean that the latter won't succeed. He will, but not as swiftly as the former.

In school, some students are very brilliant and understand easily while some need to spend hours comprehending. I don't know why things work this way but I am certain that God's grace and blessing will always be sufficient for us irrespective of their degree.

So, don't allow jealousy to creep in when you see someone you work harder than succeeding more than you. Be content with where you are because you may end up missing other God's plans for you while chasing shadows.

@joseph23 I'd like to remind you of community rules, according to which in OCD community you can only post topics that don't fit in any other community.

We have several religion communities, among which HeartChurch.

Here's a guide I put together to help you learn about how communities work -> Communities Explained - Newbie Guide.

Please don't delete any post with the purpose of reposting it in another community as that can be considered abuse! Leave this post here, you'll get it right next time.
