The ugly truth and movies | LOH #203 contest week
Okay, we're starting this week off on a bit of a high note, hahaha, with those truths that I really wouldn't have liked to know or that were true at least. Then a bit of movies to calm those waters.
Okay, estamos comenzando esta semana un poco fuertes, jajaja, con esas verdades que en realidad no me hubiera gustado saber o que fuera cierta al menos. Luego un poco de las películas para calmar esas aguas.
Sometimes the truth can be hard to process in various circumstances. Tell us about a truth in your life that you would rather ignore forever if possible.
It's not like I wanted to ignore it, I would say I wished it didn't exist... But here's the raw truth.
I found out about this much later obviously but I was dating someone, we dated for about 6 months and then the relationship was made official by all possible means, we even met our parents respectively in a formal way... Then after being officially in that relationship for 1 year, I found out he had another person and all that time they were together. The most grotesque thing is knowing all the times he would leave and tell me he would be busy or an event where he had been invited, it was to be with her in a seedy place. The most humiliating thing is that some of his friends knew about this, I can't imagine how many people there must have thought I was an idiot. Since that day my heart hardened a little more and unfortunately I don't think it's something that can be turned back, I mean I'm always extra careful now, at least with protecting my feelings.
A veces la verdad puede ser difícil de procesar en diversas circunstancias. Cuéntanos sobre una verdad en tu vida que preferirías ignorar para siempre si fuera posible.
No es como si quisiera ignorarla, yo diría que hubiera deseado que no existiera... Pero aquí les va la verdad cruda.
Yo me enteré de esto mucho después obviamente pero yo estuve saliendo con alguien, salimos como 6 meses y después se oficializó la relación por todos los medios posibles hasta conocimos a nuestros padres respectivamente de forma formal... Entonces fespués de estar oficialmente 1 año en esa relación, me entero que tenía otra y todo ese lapso de tiempo ellos estuvieron juntos. Lo más grotesco es saber de todas las veces que se iba y me decía que estaría ocupado o un evento donde lo habían invitado, era para estar con ella en un lugar de mala muerte. Lo más humillante es que alguno de sus amigos sabían esto, no me imagino cuántas personas habrán pensando que yo era una tonta. Desde ese día mi corazón se endureció un poco más y lamentablemente no creo que sea algo que tenga vuelta atrás, quiero decir siempre soy extra cuidadosa ahora, al menos con proteger mis sentimientos.

It's a very well-made film, it's a work of art that blows your mind and makes you want to investigate, it makes you want to be cultured and not take a second of your life for granted, those little numbers make a big difference especially if it's about the planet, every day we contribute something, it could be to make it perish or to save a little of it.

Es una película muy bien hecha, es una obra de arte que te explota la cabeza y te hace querer investigar, te hace querer ser culto y no tomarte por sentado un segundo de tu vida, esos pequeños numeritos hacen una gran diferencia especialmente si se trata sobre el planeta, cada día contribuimos en algo puede ser a que perezca o a salvar un poco de el.

This is one of my favorite movies that I would watch a thousand and one times. I actually have many more movies that are perhaps of better quality and that convey other nicer messages, however this is one to pass the time and entertain myself, and we also don't know if one day humanity will get sick and people will look like zombies. If there is already a fungus that makes small insects like ants become complete zombies, who knows about humans.

Esta es una de mis películas favoritas que vería mil y un vez. Realmente tengo muchísimas más películas que quizá son de mejor calidad y que transmiten otros mensajes más bonitos, sin embargo esta es una para pasar el tiempo y entretenerme, además tampoco sabemos si algún día la humanidad se enferma y las personas parecen zombies. Si ya existe un hongo que hace que pequeños insectos como hormigas sean unos completos zombies, quien sabe en los humanos.
