Time: The Possibility Of Success & Failure in Introspection

I talked to a person some days ago about the things that might be achievable for him in the space of five years and what he mostly deemed achievable are what I think might be challenging. The guy has always talked about being a crypto enthusiast, but he's always postponed the learning process.

He felt five years was a long time, to achieve
all he wanted. Some of the things he wanted were to build a house, get married, and have a big business with growing some strings of passive income. This is possible, let's understand the fact people can be extremely lucky without placing themselves in the right position or even deserving it.

Preparations & The Element Of Luck

In life, some people can get lucky without doing anything proportionally right to place themselves in a situation to deserve that element of luck. However, this is very rare. This is why I think one's preparations shouldn't be tailored to the element of luck. Rather, there are levels of preparations we might attain in life, luck would seem inevitable.

The person I was talking to had no solid plan of how he was going to achieve everything he had stated, get had no roadmap, no bright ideas, and no genius plans, he was only banking on time to activate the element of luck with the little preparation he had at hand. I tell people a lot that there's nothing like a "better tomorrow", we can't build hope without having a tangible anchor to tether it.

Time: A Tool.To Utilize?

One thing people fail to understand is that time can activate success, it can also serve failure. A lot of people see "time" as something they have at their disposal, this is the basis or foundation of negative procrastination. One of the reasons people tend to think they have time is because of their procrastinative tendencies, we often think that even if we fail today we can always prepare tomorrow and there might be a probability of excelling in the future.

We fail to understand that any future we do not plan doesn't belong to us, it belongs to the people who are fighting hard to own it. For example, people change their lifestyle when they're under pressure when they could maintain a better lifestyle so they wouldn't have to be under pressure in the first place.

The Motivation To Save?

I know people who struggle to pay their rent, however immediately after they pay it, they go back to spending irresponsibly, rather than thinking of how to pay the next rent, they go back to spending their income recklessly and they'll need their landlords threatening to throw them out before they find the needful motivation to save for their rents.

In reality, the most conscious people are not the richest, they're just minimal people that create rich choices for themselves rather than waiting to be backed into a corner and pushed to the wall and then having to make do with choosing from poor options. Time is the resource we need to create better options for ourselves.

Everyone deserves to be presented with strings of good options to choose from, especially when it comes to money and our finances, but when we don't create them, it becomes a question of choosing the devil or the deep blue sea

To some people, saving is only something they'll do when they're suddenly presented with an emergency.

But..

......What they fail to understand is that life can be unnecessarily hard, spending is something that is only loved by wealthy people, but no matter how much we hate it, we still need to prepare to spend because that's how we get to survive. When you're conscious enough, you'll realize that "time" is a mirage, when we pay too much time to its possibility of longevity, it makes it difficult for us to also realize that time is fleeting as well.

While it's possible to become rich by banking on the possibility of time to bring us goodwill, it's important to realize that, time brings ill luck especially when we haven't bent it to our whims and caprices. Your five years dreams are a possibility, but I've seen people who plan but ended up worse because they didn't exactly know where it went wrong. Before you take a long, think of success and failure, then build a balance, this might help you establish caution and preparations.
