The Crypto Market: That Placebo Effect

I woke up today to see BTC at 44k, normally this shouldn't mean anything to me, I don't own any BTC, and sold every alt I own (talking about spending on emergency in an unfavorable market situation) but I decided to tap into the market positivity to create a placeboic hope. The effect was short-lived, I the ripple effect still feels residual. Hive had a tiny increment, not that I'm checking, but this was a bit noticeable.

However, comparing it to how some other alts are doing is crucial to measure the mean average performance of altcoin in a rejuvenated market. I don't want to throw the word "bull market" We're only seeing a run at the moment, and this run would have to span through months of upward price movement with minimal correction to be called a "bull market". Right now, I can only say the market is in a positive mode, and provided there's no correction below 38k till the closing of the year, then we might just be in business.

Now we cannot categorically say a run is a run without a symmetric attraction of alts as well. I know there will be a correction, but I can't categorically say when. However, a lot of people already know there will be a correction, and whether the alts will move up before the correction, or drop during the correction without really going up, we cannot exactly say. I feel that the correction is likely to tilt the prices of the alt a bit downward (nothing too much to worry about) maybe not too noticeable. For people who are day traders, knowing some of these things might help them greatly.

I haven't been following much into what's been happening. Twitter was hot on these gists of Blackrock and Michael Saylor, but I guess that if the alts are not truly moving in synchrony with BTC, then there's really nothing much to discuss. Without crazy corrections, BTC might hold 40k till the year ends, if not, then 38 to 40k is still a good figure. I cannot categorically talk about Hive because alts have been stale, but finishing at 40 cents for the year won't be so bad. For me, this is my baseline analysis for the market.

I'm here sitting, being hopeful about my health situation. It's been five weeks now of going from one specialist to another, and it was a better week because I had the company of a friend. I cannot predict the outcome of next week as he might have to go back to work. However, the only option I have now is to find a way to stay positive, as this is the only prognosis going forward.

I've recovered a bit from the fever I had a few days back, my heart rate is better a little, and I'm hoping this happens with the electrolyte levels (which I cannot say without another serum test) and the urine too (I know this one might take months to happen) I'll continue to look at the price action and monitor the movement of the market.

I often take speculations with a pinch of salt. Yet $100k BTC doesn't seem that far off anymore. Same goes for a $5 Hive. A bit farther than BTC but it is definitely within the realms of reality

It's within the realm of reality like you've said. Basically I feel that 100 to 120k for BTC is very possible.

I just want to see how far this pump will go and what price Hive will be by the time we get to the peak of the bullish season

I'm with you on BTC and the alts, I would be thrilled with BTC at 38 K year end.

Glad to hear you're hanging in there, it's never fun to have health issues like yours. Keep up the optimism, it makes you feel a lot better I find.

Yeah, at 38k it wouldn't be so bad, because some corrections might happen before the year ends.

I don't, not anymore, lost the only sibling I had about 3 months ago, and now it just feels like a lonely place.

I am glad to hear that you are feeling better.

As for BTC, I think the first stage is generally just BTC moving. It's up to the market to see if that does translate into the alts later on. It's going to be a while but I need to see some more risk-on in the market for the alt season to happen.

You're right, it might take a lot more for the alts to move along with BTC. The market isn't ripe, hopefully. Next year will determine a lot of things

The market as it is at the moment we are looking in a bit of a bad position and it can definitely go down a bit from here to around 38 thousand and we will see after that it will start to go up again.
