The Crypto Grind & The Endless FUD
Yesterday, I did a small power-up of 50 hive, this felt unsatisfying and frustrating, the figures are not piling up like I wanted and I've been trying to blame myself a lot, maybe this can push in some creative motivation to do risky things to raise money, but I hadn't been paid from the external gigs I have doing.
I've been taking the time to do menial gigs to see if can raise funds to buy more hive, while having the security of the rest to run my daily life transactions, but it's been hard.
My life has been unstable for a while now, my rent expires in less than two months, and I need some funds to move to somewhere decent without activating my stress receptors, thereby leading to more sicknesses for me.

I'm at a crucial and delicate stage where I cannot control my finances and health implications because of the risks I might take at any time, but the grind must continue.
This is one thing about life. Your motivation to live might wane, but your bills would still pile up.
There are times you want to shut down or put your life on hold, especially when nothing seems to be working, but we still need to spend, biologically, we're wired to keep needing things, till we're no longer alive.
The Hustle Never Stops
Sometimes, our emotions might be on the low and we don't want to go on anymore, but man's gotta eat, and this is why the hustle never stops.
However, the economic aspect of the world is currently negative. Businesses are succumbing to the influx of AI. For the first time, people feel threatened by technology taking over their livelihood, their lives, and their bargaining power.
Employers are taking advantage of the world's recession to underpay their workforce. It's either that or they face the sack.
The Greener The Pasture.....
Because of this, some people are leaving where they are; giving up the lives they've built, the money they've, and the stability they've established in some places in exchange for prospective greener pastures.
The world is practically unrecognizable since COVID, in fact, people realized that crypto might have just had one of the safest havens to mitigate the financial uncertainties and implications of a pandemic like COVID-19.
It's how the world has been, a lot of people live under the illusion of safety, until something huge as COVID shatters that mirage and they begin to seek solace.
Crypto & The COVID Exodus
The world has forgotten they sought solace in crypto during COVID, the US government has come with their agenda, the liaison with the likes of SBF, and now we're back to "ohhhh crypto is unsafe" that's the human trajectory.
Crypto was safe during the whole 2020 rally, now it's back to using the bear trajectory to sell panic and it seems to be working.
In reality, a well-prepared person sees the bear market as an opportunity, while people who didn't prepare to take advantage of it, see it as a period of constantly lashing out: lashing out on the tech, at the US government, and finally themselves.
FUD & The General Market Feeling
Of course, a lot of people cannot control the general feeling of the bear market, because of the financial position they find themselves in. This is normal, but this isn't just a bear market. It's the bearest of the bear market It's like a wound that's constantly being picked by entities whose aim is making sure it never recovers.
A lot of things have happened starting with Do Kwon and SBF and that was the beginning of everything. As usual, the FUD out there is still selling.
Twitter, Reddit, and even other web2 spaces. Some people do it on Hive as their daily rant, I feel like they do it to scorn themselves and destabilize others to liquidate their position, but for people like us, the grind must continue.

I felt very bad too for not power up any hive token but still dust myself up for greater ahead. You are not alone.
Also, Not easy to balance the finances especially when there is health concerns and no medical insurance therein.
Looking for a decent accomodation is stressful and money to be paid is another biggest challenge. But we will be hopeful and see how they will be handled amicably
Well, if you didn't power up now, you can still do that later though, maybe next month. Looking for accomodation in other countries is decent, but in Nigeria, it's a very hard thing. Reason is because most of the realtor or agents we have in Nigeria just wants to dupe you.

The FUD is always there but I think it's always better to choose a goal and stick to that goal. If you feel that your HP isn't growing fast enough, then you can power up more if your finances allow for it. In my case, I am comfortable with my progress and I am on track towards my yearly goal. So I am fine with powering up smaller amounts of Hive. I don't think it's a good thing to stress about all the grind and FUD either. Just focus on your goals and everything else will follow.
Yeah, I feel I want to grow my HP more than I'm doing, but it's just not working. Yeah. Sticking to a goal eventually does the magic. I like that you're growing at your own pace.
We cannot help but focus on the FUD. we're used to wanting to have a free and positive minded market. It's not been like that for 7 months and sincerely, I really wish all these can change, but you're right, we're sticking to the goal.
As long as you are alive you will keep spending. For few months i have been receiving debit alert more than my credit alert because i was in a stage of giving up. This really triggered me to buckle up before i go entirely broke.
Haha buckling up, is actually the only way up. I'm glad you made that decision. Provided we're alive, we have no other option but to persevere.
I have been pushing myself lately to seek another online source of income, but it is just not coming forth and each time I find something I'd like to try, I get fail to proceed due to not having a Stripe account that doesn't serve Africa.
Regardless of the FUD, impediments, and all, we just have to keep grinding rather than throw in the towel.
A lot of things aren't currently working. I think it's connected to the bear market and all. I mean, being in Africa alone is a huge downer. It limits one's online opportunities. But we just have to keep looking for ways to thrive, nonetheless..
The FUD is pilling, I guess it's that time of the year again.
It's these kinds of hard decisions that trigger the stress receptors. Life can sometimes be unmotivating but we still have to do what needs to be done to keep on surviving. The FUDsters are playing their game well with the current economic environment. But we have to learn that it's temporary and things will get better in the future.
My stress receptors are being triggered lately. It just feels like I'm doing everything wrong. Life gets hard when the motivation to keep going is dwindling, but all we can do is to keep going. The FUDsters are the rot of the system and it's difficult to cope or being aware of their FUD games
Indeed! I can relate. It isn't going well for me too. I'm quite late in most of my deadlines and it is trying to take a toll.
We have to nip them in the bud and reduce the effects the FUDsters are creating.

As humans, we'd always have to keep going irrespective of how hard it gets. It would have been better if time could be put to a halt but unfortunately it can't.
Crypto is slowly creeping into the system and touching many corners. Irrespective of how people may want to put a stop it it, it's here to stay
Well it's the truth. I tried saying that there's no way we can achieve anything unless we go through the ringer. It's not a situation I like, but I cannot do anything but to keep pushing through, despite all the challenges.

For people like us, the grind must continue. That's the life we've come to know. Never giving up no matter what.
