Splinterlands: Season Ending Report
The recently concluded season was productive. I finished in diamond one, and it has been difficult to finish higher than that. It is also more competitive to play in the wild league, thanks to the lower bot population. I was able to earn better SPS rewards than in the previous two seasons, as well as better Glint rewards.
I earned approximately 35k glint rewards, which was higher than the previous two seasons' average of around 25k. My win rate improved despite a poor start to the season. It is common to start the season poorly if you do not have very good or max level cards.
However, I am still not sure if I will improve as much as I did two seasons ago.
I have not bought any legendary draws in two seasons because I can not afford to gamble 25k Glints on a legendary card I already own. The burn rate for a legendary card is only 2k, but you will lose more than 23k Glints, which is not fair. Also, I do not have much Glint to spare.
I prioritized purchasing rare draws because you will receive a large number of summoners to upgrade your soulbound summoner, and I can proudly say that I have maxed out one of my soulbound summoners, the permbrook nymph. It is a rare water summoner, and the rest of my soulbound summoners are at level 7.
I have upgraded a lot of my regular common cards, but I still have not maxed out any of them, and the Gobson Bomber is the closest to being maxed out at level 9. I rarely use it because I do not like the recharge ability, and only in the "back to basics" rule set.
However, it remains a formidable neutral card, with amazing abilities such as pierce. I also purchased two epic draws: the regular Noa the Just and another. I purchased nearly 100 rare draws and chests, which are shown in this image.
However, even after all of the upgrades, the majority of my common cards are still at level 7 or 8, and it will only take a few hundred to get them to max level, which is why I am using the glint reward carefully to achieve this goal.
I was able to purchase the wild pass for 40 vouchers again because the SPS rewards have significantly improved. I am hoping that Splinterlands will completely ban bots and remove the wild pass penalty, but this may not be possible because Splinterlands may not want it.
I gambled with a few major and ultimate chests and never received anything spectacular.
Better Gladius Cards
However, I got lucky with my Gladius cases. I bought two and received one extra Quora as well as the earth legendary card Jini Guise, which has a magic attack type. I would have preferred a Vox or something else, but this card has the protection ability, and I plan to use it.
It is the first time I have received a legendary card in nearly a year, and it was great to have this one. I bought another Wild pass for this season and hope to improve my rewards while also earning more SPS.

Nice one
Nice Gladius pulls, Quora and Jini are great cards. I'm hoping to get a couple more Quora cards to get her to level 3 finally... I did pull a gold legendary which was level 2, and I already has a level 3 so I burned it for like 65K glints did two legendary pulls, one worked out great getting my Drybone Raider to level 3.
I know the end of these soul bounds is coming to an end so I'm trying to max out as much as I can. The Fire and Earth summoners I can't get past level seven which sucks, I almost never get those pulls... Oh well.
You did pretty good overall! A Noa is a good card, my epic soul bounds are pretty sad. Maybe I'll get lucky and get some good pulls over this season.
What's new over there? How are you feeling?
Wow 65k? Did you use it to buy any legendary card? Or did you buy more merit to get more gladius cases? That's astonishing. Congratulations.
Yeah, I think last season wasn't bad for me. Overall my luck shined and I need about 3 Quora to also get to level 3.
I'm also doing the same and I think if I calculate rightly, I might need about 3 months to completely max out all the soulbound cards I have. If they unlock it, it'll be interesting to see.
My blood work is due over one month, I should have gotten it done, but money and the fear of the unknown keeps me away. Overall it's just another day, how about you?
I don’t know why I haven’t started playing this game, lol
Keep it up, my boss!
Well it takes time and money, so.
That is a nice pull of gladius cards you got there. I generally don't play in wild for the time being cause I can't bare seeing how small my sps is per win considering I am in a lower league there( I hardly play in wild).
If you don't mind me asking, approximately how much sps did you get per win in your diamond league last season and how much sps do you use to get that amount.
I have about 28k SPS, 16k delegated to me, 12k owned. I usually earn average 0.7 SPS per win before wild pass, now I get average 0.9 SPS and can go up to 1.3 SPS per win.
I prefer wild because I don't have enough cards to compete in modern.
Oh ok I wanted to see if it will be beneficial to me to move to wild. I've bought the wild pass for this season but it seems my win rate for the start of this season is better so lets see.
If you have great cards then you'll certainly do well in wild
Good to see your progress and navigating the wild league. Earning enough glint before the new soulbound set drops is critical right now. You may also wait until Chaos legion rotates out of modern for more card bargains to come.
Funny enough Glints now seems to be the new SPS because it's very scare and an average player needs quality soulbound cards to compete. It's funny how I mostly wish I get more Glint rather than SPS.
I love CL though a lot, especially the water cards, I invested some decent money in them in 2021

Nice job on your Gladius pulls brother. It's rewarding to see your strategy paying off with those cards.
Thank you
welcome brother
Hello, congratulations on getting "Jini Guise", nice report my friend.👍👍👍
Can't wait to start my own journey in the splinterlands gaming world.
Seems there are a lot more to be explored there. Wishing you progress my boss.
It looks like a good season for you. I also went for the rare cards and it's tough to upgrade cards. It takes a lot towards the end levels and I kind of miss Wild league. The Glint there seems great but it's tough when I don't know how much time I can spend on Splinterlands each night.
Well if you don't have enough time per day to spend then it's better to play in modern where you don't actually need to pay to play. I think it was a fairly good season considering my Gladius cards
I have not done a season report in a while, should do one soon as well :)
It's interesting... I was looking more at my Glint rewards recently than my SPS rewards, although the latter is normally more valuable long term. But the SPS rewards probably grew too in Wild, which is great.
I kept hoping to max out my soulbound reward cards. After hearing Matt in the town hall, looks like I'll have next season and that's it to do it (he mentioned "a few weeks" and "early August" until the next set of soulbound reward cards). I don't think I still have enough time to max out the legendaries I'm still missing at max level. Everything else is maxed out.
Wow early August? That's like maybe 3 weeks max and nothing more. I have only one max out soulbound summoner at the moment and I don't think I'll also have enough time to get more.
I think going forward, the next set of cards will mostly be owned by those who gave or own a lot of Glint
Yeah, I did some checking in between. I might be able to max out two legendaries, if I am lucky, and I will likely be left with 2 that won't be maxed. Overall, a very good outcome, even though I wanted them all maxed out.
Nowadays I think there's no longer element of luck, one just has to fight to actually get the glint they need to buy these Legendaries. It's harder these days, congratulations to you
There is some element of luck, because you could get the cards you don't need, especially when you only have a few to upgrade. But definitely, you need lots of glint to be able to upgrade them. The other important aspect is you can't buy them, at least not until they are unlocked, which is when most people have them at least up to a certain level. So having lots of money doesn't help with soulbound reward cards.
Those are some very nice rewards! I've been taking a break from the game and enjoying some vacation time. Good to see that the SPS price has stabilized somewhat.
