Splinterlands: End Of The Season Reward
My win rate last season was quite impressive and it's been my best season for over 6 months. For a season where I got 40 chests, I was quite disappointed with the content of the chest. Last season I finished with 34 chests, and six more than last season. Logically this means that I was going to get better rewards.
My SPS last season was 64, this time, I got 11, no legendaries, no epic, and no Chaos Legion as well. However, I was able to finish in Gold League 2. The season was chaotic, but I got lucky in some of my games.
Sometimes you get lucky, sometimes you don't. One of the times to get extremely unlucky is during the last few hours to the end of the season. I was on my way to getting to my 41st chest, then I went on a 5-game losing streak if not more.
Then I had to decide if I wanted to stay in Gold 2 or risk losing more games and dropping to Gold 3. I didn't want this and I had to forfeit getting the 41st chest. Getting a gold chest may not be difficult, however, I really don't have that much staked SPS to earn more, yet I'm grateful for the delegations I've gotten so far, and how I've used it.
It's been over 4 seasons since I last got a legendary card, and to be very honest, I need some cards to raise the level of my legendaries to level 2 and even beyond, that said, it was a good season if I look at my win rate and how far I was able to come.
But it wasn't so good when it comes to the reward and that's how distinct splinterlands can actually be. Luck plays a very big role even if your investments are the major factor when it comes to winning. I'll try again this season.

You got some summoners and that's never a bad thing. I got way too many potions this last EOS and not nearly enough cards. I decided to push up into Diamond right before the EOS to play for diamond chests down in gold league. To play in diamond I would have to rent way too many cards...

I don't have enough resources to rent out cards, so I'm making do with what I have and it's actually okay by me. Yeah, I got some summoners, it still felt disappointing because they weren't the summoners I wanted.

Hanging in here, just low on energy today... I have taken from HBD in the past to rent, but I'm trying to minimize it. I also have a bot selling and trading Leo which makes me a few Hive a day To make more I would have to put more in and since I'm not able to work much anymore I have to watch the extra expenses carefully.
I won't be renting into diamond again, or champion for that matter. I did that once awhile back but the returns were no where near how much I put in. I'll be playing in gold because most of my older cards are at that level, or at least silver.
Being alive sure beats the alternative! I'm not in too big a rush to find out what comes next!
It feels lonely to feel that you're there without anyone understanding. I felt that way and while everyone was busy shouting new year resolution, finding a new partner and making money and all that, I just found myself in a somber place, feeling lost in how fast things have happened with me in just these four months. It doesn't feel fair that life is happening and no one truly understands, but I snap out of it once in a while.
Renting on splinterlands isn't lucrative, unless it's the bull market, maybe stick to the gold league like you've said.

You definitely had a great season. I ended in Gold III and I am getting destroyed in modern. It's too bad your season chests weren't so great but mine wasn't that good either. Good luck on your next season and happy new years.
Happy new year. It happens that a person works hard but does not get a good reward, then there is no problem, you can get good things within the next month and the prices of all these things will go up now because the market has started to go up.
