Splinterlands: An Underrated Rewarder Of Passion & Investment
Playing Splinterlands is addictive, it's a game of habit where you learn and build your tactics over time. There's the diversity of elements that allows you to create a preference. These preferences might include cards, ruleset, favorite mana and even playing pattern. In the beginning, I fell in love with the water elements, and this was because in my course of investing in 2021, I discovered that the water element is not just cheaper, it's also loveable, giving you the ability to create diverse strategies to play different elements.
Some people are obsessed with playing splinterlands and this is completely because it is potentially lucrative in a bull run or completely life-changing in a proper bull market, but because they're just obsessed with winning. The truth is that when they win, they don't win in vain, they're multiplying their earnings which can significantly increase in value and worth over time. Some days ago,
A Good case scenario
I saw a guy on Twitter talking about earning $8 worth of SPS for winning 18 to 19 games per day.
Of course, he must've invested thousands of dollars and his assets will eventually be worth a whole lot, but it doesn't change the fact that $8 passive income in less than one hour or two of play in a 24-hour window is still amazing, especially if we look at the fact that this $8 could potentially become $200 a day when it's a proper bull market.
Now imagine if he had made $8 per day for two years when it was the bear market. He'd have made $5670, now imagine he only staked and didn't sell and waited for the bull market where his $8 a day is possibly $80 if SPS x10ed
That would be close to $58k profit on only SPS. If I had calculated an extra year of consistently earning passive SPS assets before the bull market, that would be $86k. That is if SPS x10ed from its current price which is actually possible. Now if these accumulated SPS were regularly staked, there's the potentiality of earning from staked SPS, which could easily net this man a $100k for earning SPS in a period of 3 years before the bull market in the 4th year.
Now many factors could negatively or positively change these figures, but the truth is that even if it changes, the figures will not be much and will most likely correlate with the figures I've mentioned. There's the factor of missed consistency of play along the way. However even if this man started with an initial investment of 20 to $30k or even more, he triples this figure in 3 years for just playing and earning in the space of 3 years and we're yet to calculate the potential profit he could earn for joining the Guild and earning SPS, or even selling some valuable cards, and flipping profit in the process.
If there's a liquidity pool somewhere, this increases the SPS earnings and takes that figure over $100k. Of course, this is not a movie or analysis based on pure hypothesis, it's a possibility that happens with the bull market. So Splinterlands easily becomes fun when it's the bear market, and becomes a mega million-making machine, where you now begin to truly see the reward for your consistent passion over a period of time.
Of course, this Money is subjective to the amount of money you've initially invested in the beginning as Splinterlands has proven to be a rewarder to those who have diligently invested money and skin in the game. There are many parameters to passively explore, but it's just to prove that those who have accumulated slowly and pushed in more money over time might experience a life-changing fortune/money just like the man I talked about.
It's a long shot
but the last bull run proves this. I'll talk about the potential of taking profit From other asset-based economies on splinterlands as this is just for SPS alone.
TDLR: I'm tired of talking with doctors, some of them here are mostly not empathetic and it's about the figures, I'm home, I can't say I'm not worried, it's the constant depressive state of pain, panic and anxiety that irks me. I'll wait for January and begin my quest again. I've lost a lot of weight and this is probably attributed to my worry or because I don't take care of myself as before, but I'm here, I've turned up today again and I'm grateful

You can play for free, but then to earn, you need to invest quite a sizeable sum to be able to earn back ROI and you need to learn as well.

I also had a loss a week ago but I took the pain and I’m getting better. I would not want to talk about it though
I still play although my play on one account is now purely by xbot. I'm hoping the assets will pay off down the road. All those soul bound cards may not yet be unlocked during the next bull run so they may be a very long term investment. I'm optimistic about SPS, hopefully it continues an upward trajectory.
How have you been doing?
The soulbound is long-term like you've said, I just want to keep riding the wave and not even look at long term, it haunts me to do so. But I'm certain all the accumulation goes a long way and it can be rewarding.
Beside being a fun game to play, behind providing a good investment return, for me Splinterlands it relaxes me after a hard day of work or whenever I want to run in a "better" world with many opportunities.
You're right, it offers opportunity for relaxation and this can be very important. I see it as something to take my mind off the stress and all.

It does all add up over time but I do think the investment required tends to be a huge hurdle. I do what I can on Splinterlands but it's nowhere close to that person's numbers. Like everything on hive, consistency is key though if you want to grow.
Yeah I'm certain that guy invested a lot of money maybe in the 20 to 30k$ range, but it doesn't take away the fact that he makes a lot of Money. It all adds up like you've said.
I believed and experienced the higher return on investment as player in Splinterlands.
