Choosing Opportunities That You're Compatible With
The craving for success and achievement has made life into a rat race that inevitably forestalls competition. Because money is often tied to the resources that determine our survival, standard of living, and quality of life, it has become impossible to repulse competition, no matter how much we hate it.
We're all movers and climbers in life, our physical and psychological anatomy warrants us to move, not considering the barriers we have to face in life, this is why opportunities are created for us to take advantage of the values we can offer to enrich or continuously move us to and fro, the diverse ladders of life.
Because of scarcity or the pressure to do well, we're sometimes guilty of not knowing ourselves, valuing ourselves rightly, and not increasing our expectations or valuing ourselves wrongly. The people we are determines which opportunities suit us, we have to be compatible or attain a level of compatibility with what we're chasing for us to attain a level of accomplishment. Some people try to exactly copy their recipes without measuring the scale of their capabilities.
This is to say we're thrilled with the results. For a moment we forget efforts and focus on success simply because of the pressure and the rush. At the end of the day, we fail because we do not take the time to know and understand who and what we are. In this video, I talked about the exposure to opportunities and how compatible we might be with the opportunities we're presented with and what we choose to make of them.

Life presents a lot of opportunities,one thing is being always prepared or ready to take on the opportunity.

Personally, I want to be with the company of successful people. As I know that I would be encouraged and pressured to be successful just like them. I like to be like them but not them. What I mean by this is, I will learn from their experiences, hear their advise and apply it in my own way. Whenever that I would fail then they will surely share their similar experience to in the past and how did they overcome it. 😊

Many people who walk or deal with rich people are eventually pressured to be like them and this is because their lifestyle eventually grows on you, it's quite psychological and arguably inevitable. However, it's always good to aspire to be with or around people who are better than us..

So many of us are always mirroring our lives to others, that we want to go the same way they went to succeed, and it makes us want to do the exact thing they did to make success, without checking through how they started. One thing I always hold onto is that we are all unique and different with diverse abilities. In this life, there are numerous opportunities for everyone depending on what we are capable of doing. It is our responsibility to scrutinize and find the one that suits our abilities and capabilities, instead of wanting the same thing as the other person and at the end of it, we realize we have been in a wrong rat race yielding no result because we fail to recognize the best opportunity for us which could have helped us climb the ladder on time.
If we are not patient to try our own recipe to make the best out of life and we are busy following up others' recipes, we would always make mistakes until we deviate from such a line to follow what our ability can carry.
The truth is that we would always fail as many times as long as we do not realize the wrong thing we have been doing. We are all created differently and we must identify what works for us, rather than copying others. There are opportunities that suit each individual. We just have to find it.

You're right, there are numerous opportunity that are available to us depending on our capacities, but I think some people have failed to envalue themselves or try to be conscious about their capabilities, hence they end up chasing the dreams of others when they could actually chase their own dreams.
However, it's also true to admit that it's difficult to discover who we are sometimes especially when we live in a copycat world where everyone wants to live the dreams of others because it seems really comfortable.

A single opportunity can change our life drastically. However, having the opportunity that is compatible with us not only change our life but also saves us from wasting efforts on things that are not beneficial for us. I have learnt in life that while I like people who have become successful in something, I always do things differently not in the same way as them because what works for them might not work for me as you have said. One of the things that can help us choose the right opportunity is knowing what we want in life, this can go a long way in choosing an opportunity that is right for us.

Well, my life experiences have taught me a whole lot. For someone who have missed a lot of opportunities in life, I've come to learn that it's not every opportunity lost that's actually a loss. Sometimes we lose knowingly, or we should lose or ignore due to not establishing enough compatibility.
