How Much Can You Get For Selling Your Soul To The Devil?
The reason why money feels like the most powerful entity in the universe is because of the omnipotent and omniscient status we attach to it, but the surprising thing is that because it's a tool that's capable of making our dreams come true, we even go ahead to sort of attach a spirituality to it because of how it brings forth our deepest desires, reveal our true personalities and help us cultivate some habits that might not be there if the money wasn't available in the first place. But the truth is, all that power is directly derived from us. We've come to an extent where money can do almost everything, and because of this, we continue to extend its invisibility beyond every human capacity.
For example, some of the ills we suffer in life are because we failed to hit financial Freedom.
A person can suffer illnesses like high blood pressure, when they begin to think of how to settle bills, pay their rent, clothe, feed, and continue living. The fear of not being able to sort out these problems creates a mental consequence in our mind which eventually becomes real.
The fear of seeing one's kids starve hits differently and this is why a person can fall sick, even when their sickness is not of a natural cause, but more psychological.
It's almost surprising to see people recover when money comes in and this is because when we count the things money cannot solve in our lives, the more we tie inanimate feelings like happiness or sadness, to something whose value is gone and irrecoverable when it's burnt or flushed down the toilet.
What Is The Cost Of PRICELESSNESS?
This is the same thing with things like love. There was a time we believe love is the most natural human emotion that isn't tied to a cost. But the truth is, people can become artificially endeared to you when you provide for them, guaranteed them safety, and make their dreams come through, although we might begin to question the longevity of the kind of endearment that money brings, the fact that we can even sway people with the power of means, shows that life might get to a stage where people will no longer draw a line or see a limit to what they cannot do for money.
This is not all
Ritual killings for money is rampant in Africa, why is this?
This is because some people believe that they need a spiritual cushion to make money, this is why we have ritual killings in Africa. They also believe those ritual killings can bring untold wealth especially if they have nothing and are starting from ground zero. Now, this is more of an African phenomenon, but as far as I know, without work, it's difficult to make money.
Without offering some form of value or incentive, it's difficult to manufacture money. Now it's all the mind. A person whose business is not growing might attach spirituality to this cause, meanwhile, it's them who haven't made the right moves to improve their business. However, they believe that if they seek spiritual help, then their business will grow.
A Relatable Point Of View
However, when their business eventually grows after this, they attribute this success to the person who they went to for spiritual assistance, meanwhile, it was their mindset that changed which affected the aura of the business in general. I have a brother who isn't doing well in his business and he mostly attributes this to his master selling his soul to the devil for money.
He feels his master's deal with the devil has affected him (my brother) and this is why he's always failing. But the truth is, this person in question has a hardworking Master. Over the years the man has built an empire by compounding his business into other investments in life, but people are always attaching his success to the possibility that he's stolen the destinies of the people who worked for him.
The sad truth is that my brother in question is not hard-working enough. He has left his fate to chance rather than choosing to control his destiny by making the right choices and being strict about his goals in life, and because he felt life should be easy, he's been hit with the reality that life's harder and now he begins to attach his failures to his master being devilish.
While we cannot completely overrule the aspect of spirituality being responsible for our failures or success, it's pertinent to never overrule or underestimate the power we have over our lives. The truth is, we're miraculous beings and even our science and technology cannot replicate the sophistication behind the human design this is why tap into "THE" aspect of divinity as a reason why we're alive and thriving.
Why We Question Our Control Over Our Lives
So when we experience failure or success, we still see the Inexplicable aspect of our lives as the reason why we mostly fail. We have to understand that, we're designed to be domineering, existing free, and have the capacity to make our choices. This means that our lives belong to us and our choices and decisions are what eventually determine who and what we become. When we strive hard and it's not yielding any results, we can be conscious of this and change our approach to work. Irrespective of how powerful we feel money is, it's a product of our ingenuity and this means we have the power to bend our capacity and offer decisive value in our to change our financial conditions.

I was discussing about this topic with some of my friends yesterday night and I beginning to imagine why do African indulge in ritual money when they knew quite well they can never last with the money.. but I believe this is a choice, either you choice to stay long or cut your life short..

I think sometimes people choose to die for nothing as ritual killings are just devilish mirages that makes people lazy instead of choosing to be steadfast and work hard in life.
Exactly, imaging someone that went for ritual and was told he has just a year or two to enjoy the money, what the point? Why not just work hard and acquire your own wealth yourself??🤷🤷

We live a borrowed life that doesn't belong to us, so we can't sell what doesn't belong to us.
Just yesterday, I spoke with my friend who is a future millionaire like me, he said that his mom was making 20 million naira from her businesses in the early 2000s. She later lost all that money and now she basically depends on him. She spoke about the devil's hand in her failures and inability to get up. But I bet you that many have failed and many will fail to even lower depths but it's your willingness to take accountability for the past that will help you get up.
Our society today loved shielding people from the truth and this does them a great disservice. If the victim does not learn anything from the mistakes for the past...they are bond to either happen again (and they did as in the case of my friend's mom) oor never allow you to get up.
I don't doubt the existence of the spiritual but I have to do my very best to exclude every natural cause and there are billions of them for some scenarios.
I also do not doubt spirituality and the impact on our lives, I also feel that sometimes we lay too miss emphasis on the devil for our failings when we could have just done better.
I agree that there are circumstances in our lives that are beyond our control as sometimes we might even begin to blame our existence for some of these circumstances and how it tends to limit us, but even in the most craziest of limitations in life people have gone on to succeed.
Sometimes I just believe the mind is our own very enemy, inasmuch as it can become a liberator as well.
I have suffered so many limitations in my life and there are heights I might never be able to climb, but I'll still push for those I can attain those that I cannot as well. Sometimes we should see ourselves as the main character in our story.

This is true though, yet some people are trapped in their minds, I think we make the decision to be liberated, God, the almighty has given us that individual sovereignty to do so.

Money and ritualism is common in Africa, not much of it in SA though but growing up in Nigeria I knew this was a thing, people go to the extent of occultism and rituals to attain their financial goals, I hope that mentality is dying and not a growing mentality that wealth can be generated through that means. It is high time people start putting their common sense to work and stop indulging in such crap.

@josediccus - I found myself stuck when I got to your point about ritual killings, not really having any understandings of what they were. Spent a bit of time doing some research and golly, did I get a shock. What a horrific practice! Absolutely, your blog title seems appropriate!
It's about engaging in the practice of human sacrifice with some shaman, with the hope that those killings can bring money and good fortune. It's believed to be making a deal with a deal with the devil. This practice is still in existence even when people know that money is only gotten through adding value.
Wow so this is real...I used to hear about it but I thought it was just hearsay...now hearing it from someone who is directly a Nigerian like you , then it means it is no more a rumour but the truth.....But how will the spiritual forces pick the money from the bank ?? The money will dissappear from which bank accounts??
I think the aim or belief is that these spiritual forces will create the money or mould them or give it to them in a big bad or fetish pot whatsoever. Nevertheless, it's real and being practiced in Nigeria, but the truth is I've never seen anyone who actually harvested money from these pots.

I think failures are just a part of life and I have failed quite a bit. It is tempting when you are done in the gutters to sell out your beliefs for money though but I never had to so far. There are constant stories of greed over money and I understand that people can get desperate. As for the ritual killings, I am just glad that doesn't happen in the US.

I can relate much. I'm from a community where a lot of people believes more on spirit offerings to build their wealth or their careers. If one would succeed then they would associate it with having their prayers being heard by the spirits. If they fail, then the spirits must be asking for more sacrifices. In they end they end up draining up their resources but are not seeing any signs of financial success. LOL.
I am so glad that even if our grandfather was one of the last pagan priest within our community, I don't remember him making this kinds of sacrifices within our family.

Hahaha well, seems the old ways of sacrifices for the sake of peace and prosperity died in some places, but it actually became even more relevant in some other places, it's still being practiced in some places in Africa. I guess we'd forever have people who would be that they can make money through spiritual offerings and sacrifices.

Africans could have been the most successful continent on if remove our spirituality mindset, it is a problem that is holding passion, greatness and vision down. Not all our problem is spiritual and sometimes is just us not having the right mindset

There are people who would never believe their problem isn't spiritual. To these people, they just don't look beyond this and it makes it really difficult for them to seek the aspect of hardwork and self development they need.
This reminds me of the scriptures, in proverbs 23:7 which says "as a man thinketh, so he is". We need a total and complete change of mindset in Africa most especially in the business area, I wonder why someone will just sit down and conclude that his misfortune is spiritual without having tried his best, without having tried many things, yes, we can not deny that we do fight spiritual battles but this thought is what has affected so many people and prevent them from reaching their potentials. One of my cousin's sisters married this guy that didn't finish university yet he is looking for a white-collar job. He can just sit down and say that if he could just jam contact of 1 million naira, gosh, who thinks like this. Contract without having value to show for it, yet you see they made this has their prayer point, binding and casting everything standing in his way, so pathetic. I wish we rise above this mentality and see how powerful a change mindset can be.
