Freely Were You Given... (2)
The divided sentiments towards the gift of life is why some people would reject it (life) if they were given the choice to have it or not.
One positive thing is that Irrespective of the circumstances of birth, the fear of losing our consciousness is why some people are living. It's like being caught in a loop of dilemma.
Some people are living, not because they want to, but because they're vested in life. What would their friends, children, and family do without them?
The worry of leaving people behind, suddenly makes sticking around the only option
Sometimes, it's not us we worry about, it's the people our absence will likely affect the most
However, irrespective of life's ailings, it's still the greatest gift ever, the reason is that the ability to experience consciousness is the best feeling ever.
The opposite of this is nothingness, darkness, a feeling of bottomlessness, void, and total emptiness. On the other side, consciousness is the ability to know, feel, understand, learn, thrive, and even grow.
Life's ability to transform through development is how people form their knowledge about what life is.
When people are in a reflective state about their existence and life, it's majorly because they have experienced it (life) to an extent, thereby creating a personal mindset about what life is
Choice Is Gotten By Being Granted The Gift Of Consciousness
However, the fact that life is the greatest given ever freely given doesn't mean that everyone who was given was happy they got it.
It's a gift, but the fact that we didn't choose to have it, is why we all cannot be completely happy to get it. Throughout life, we learn to appreciate our consciousness and the ability to live.
No human has automatically appreciated their life by default. People only grow to appreciate life by coming to a certain age, living and understanding its onuses while battling the continuous challenges that comes in form of tasks and responsibilities.
People appreciates life differently,
.....but the fact that we do,doesn't mean we're completely happy with our reality, life's full of the good, bad, and ugly and while we hate it, we appreciate our efforts towards surviving and thriving and this is why we treasure the gift, the joy of consciousness and the glee that comes with our different expressive abilities.
This is one of the reasons why I try to tell people to be humble about the default gifts life has given them because they were lucky.
A lot of people are lucky to live the lives they have, while some people are unlucky. The line between luck and misfortune is very thin, anyone can be both in life because it's our parents that get to decide which category we fall in.
No one is special by default, our consciousness isn't biologically wired,
This is why we go on in life to grow and develop it, this is why people should appreciate the good health they've been given, the good life they were given because it could be them being unlucky not to have it. As for me, I like to think that I often regret my failings.
Although they aren't exactly my fault or fall between the things I can control, it doesn't make it easier to accept, if anything, it makes it even harder.
But, I've come to accept my failings, being in regrets or denial of them would make me lose the joy of being alive, and I like being happy to be alive.
The only way to enjoy life is to love it beyond your failings. We can never control who births us, and even if we weren't given the choice to choose, life remains the greatest gift ever given, no matter the circumstances it was given.

Very well said brother. Keep sharing... Have a blissful day ahead
Thanks for the comments.
pleasure to be here
You know, most times when a person that was coma induced or near death finally wakes up, you hear them say things like they wanted to give up but then the face of a loved one appeared. Someone they wouldn't ever want to see sad, and so because of that they decided to fight to come back to the conscious.
You learn to appreciate your life with all its failings, all the regrets and everything because you know in your heart that all of those experiences led you to the moment where you are. It's what has made you who you are. And that's the right mindset to go about life.
I am appreciative of life in every circumstances. This is basically because I know my struggles, the challenges I face daily and how I overcome, is one of the reasons why I love life. Just like you've said, when people face near death experiences. It helps them to truly value the time they have and the people who are close to them. Thanks for your reflective comments always.
I think that for an intelligent person this realization comes somewhere after 35 years - if you are -50 and this feeling did not come to you, then you lived wrong!
I am 30 this year, and to be honest, this realization has just come to me. All these while, I've enjoyed the carefreeness of being young, then suddenly I get older and I begin to experience a different rhema towards life.
You're right, if anyone at 50 never experienced this, then they sadly didn't live right.
So you are smarter than me and have seen a lot in life!
I have seen a lot, haha, but I don't really think I'm smarter. Thanks for coming through my post and I appreciate your endless support.
At first, many aren't appreciative of this gift especially in times of difficulty. But when we start pondering about it, unpacking the things it entails, we realise that it isn't that bad after all. The gift is an opportunity to freely experience life and creatively express ourselves in it.
Beautiful title image, it reflects good vibes :)
So mant people intentionally waste their lives by doing drugs or living irresponsiblely, so I do believe the people that are closer to these people are the ones that suffer. Sometimes people need to hit a certain realization to truly appreciate life.
Those images are of me, taken, owned and edited by me.
Indeed! Without that realisation, we can't truly grasp the gift we've been given. We usually waste things when we don't realise its worth.
Yes, it's evident to me. I meant the image of you is beautiful and radiate good vibes.
Haha, okay, well I love using stuffs done by me. Creating the concepts for the images is the most interesting part or everything
Very interesting! It's really an art that many people don't know how to do.
Life is filled with the good and the bad but we learn to appreciate and give thanks to the source that create life. The journey as not been easy
Exactly, at the end of the day we just have to be appreciative that we're here and that's all that matters
You have said it all. I totally agree with you on this and I have decided to just live a life I would be proud of, be happy and appreciate the people that care about me. Cause you never know when the time is up.
By the way, I enjoy reading your posts.
I mean, it's a little difficult to think of it like that for me. They don't exactly have the power to decide. Our birth to them is no less in their control as it is in ours. It just happened. I get your point of view though. You're looking at it from the angle that the condition your parents are in most likely will influence your own future. Kinda related to the concept you talked about in your most recent post. People born into rich families are more likely to be rich and successful as well.
If you were wondering, I got drawn here by the cover image. Looking fresh:)
