Change Vs Stability: Should We Establish A Compromise?
We're believers in self-love because of how we try to establish acceptance of who and what we truly are. However, change often compromises the stability of acceptance especially when people believe change is too tedious and not something they'll like to cultivate.
There's a difference. Everyone has changeable or unchangeable aspects of their lives, for example, I mentioned how it's difficult to rewire one's biological anatomy because we cannot control this aspect of us, hence, we try to let people understand that these shortcoming doesn't define us.
However, we have to differentiate between what's changeable and what is not, because doing so, helps us to understand that change is necessary when it improves us.
However, no one should think change is easy, but because of the improvement it brings, it should become inevitable to us.
In this video, I talked about people who are angry at change hence, see no essence or a need for it. however, I talked about why we should change because of how it's not just beneficial to us but for people who might be banking on the height of improvement we might reach

Fundamentally, change is a factor that naturally brings destabilization. And its resonance affects the surrounding areas it touches.
We humans have the propensity to want to resist change because it tends to take us out of our comfort zones and into the unknown (sometimes).
It is never easy to imbibe change, but the time will always come to actually change. When the time does come, it is crucial that one knows how to make the transition optimal, especially for the kind that improves us.
Exactly, it majorly one of the reasons why I said it's not relevant to seek change especially in the aspects of life we cannot control. But when it's within our means to change, then we have to seek or pursue it irrespective of how uncomfortable it might seem.
As for resistance to change, this is true and this is because we love the stability our comfort zone brings, but eventually, we will need to if we want to grow.
One thing that is constant in life is to change yet change is what people fear most. Change uproot us from that place we know so much and are comfortable with to a new place that we know nothing about.
Without a change in some aspect of our life, we tend to remain stagnant and not move forward. And our slimy excuses are part of the factors that prevent us from making a change.
Thank you for this, now I know that change never comes naturally, we are the ones who need to cultivate the habit to change. Unless we are strategic about our change, nothing ever happens.
About not being able to biologically rewire who we are, I think medicine and the fuckery in people’s minds has changed that part of reality. I get your point, this funny thing just popped in my head when I heard that and I dared to write it out. Lol
I couldn’t agree more. My explanation comes a bit from a different angle though. I think I read something somewhere where someone said that the people closest to us are mostly the ones that don’t like it when we change the most. Because they’d gotten used to and probably liked the old version of you, and this new you kind of poses a threat to the friendship or relationship.
