Even if you plan to win, you may still lose.
I was watching women's gymnastics at the recent 2024 Olympics, and the main attraction was the US team and Simeon Biles, who were competing against countries like Brazil, Italy, China, and many others. At one point, the competition became so intense that you could see the other countries throwing everything they had at it.
You could tell they had spent a long time preparing for the competition, and there were so many amazing displays. Unfortunately, some, such as Simeone Biles, were just miles ahead. Everything she did seemed so perfect; the opposing teams were hoping for a little misfortune or bad luck from her, but she competes as if she is not human.
Everything she touches simply excites the judges. I am sure some of those competitors despised her, and some knew they would be world champions if she was removed from the competition.
I mean, they worked too hard only to lose to someone who was simply unbeatable. These guys (the opposing national athletes) worked too hard, and I could tell by how much they competed, but one simple mistake, and Biles capitalizes and wins with everything she does.
There are some people in life who always come out perfectly.
In all aspects of life, we are constantly competing with people like this. They appear inhuman and exhibit inhuman characteristics, and everything we do seems to be thwarted by people like this.
Mistakes are intended for capitalization.
What I mean is that the misfortunes of others are simply the joy of others; sometimes people fall so that others can rise, and when this balance is disrupted, there is a certain type of imbalance to the natural state of life. Many people believe that the sky is large enough for everyone to fly; however, I disagree. It may have been true in the past, but I do not believe it is true now.
There are people who do inhumane things to excel in human endeavors, doing extraordinary things and making unusual sacrifices to outperform the ordinary things that others do.
These behaviors and attitudes make the world extremely competitive.
For example, if a gifted person decides to nurture their gifts, they will become extremely talented as a result of their hard work and sacrifice to improve. This intentionality gives them an advantage over others. So when they compete with others, they simply make others appear incomplete, half-baked, and worthless.
People like this exist in all walks of life, and no matter how hard you work, you will always lose when competing with them.
although they might inspire others to work hard, but these guys are more than just talented; they are gifted, and they have chosen to be intentional with their gifts, making them virtually unstoppable.
Incredible quality creates inexplicable competition; sometimes the frustration of beating difficult things motivates people to work harder, which can lead to diabolical and unhealthy competition.
When people compete too hard, those who only give their best will end up at the bottom of the ladder. This is why you can not compete at your own pace and expect to win everything. People are targeting your position, and once they achieve it, they displace you and take what was yours. This is evident in the competition between Samsung and Apple, as well as Christiano Ronaldo and Messi, among many others.
You might think that this competition is healthy, but it isn't.
Sometimes in life, you can do everything you can and still lose. You will work hard for money, but you will still be poor. You will put yourself in the right position to be lucky, but someone else will simply take the luck that is meant for you. Life is not fair, and we (humans) made it that way, which is why you can lose even if you have prepared to win. Even if you are content, it is impossible to avoid competition.
The things you need to get by in life are desired in excess by others, resulting in desperation and struggle, creating a massive void. Unfortunately, we cannot all be talented in the same way, and life can pit us against people who are better than us. We can work as hard as we want, but we will not always win.

Hungry enough to achieve, hours of preparation with a good support structure, agree many fall short spending the same amount of effort.
Always a winner or loser in most things throughout life, it's how one graciously accepts, still able to hold their head high.
You're right..
Well, it's either one holds their head high and accept the reality or they don't. I just feel that this aspect of life creates a complexity.
Sometimes we win sometimes we lose, it's all in learning or training and how we manage either.
You're completely right
Hard work doesn't guarantee success and never has or will. The old adage "life isn't fair" was coined for a reason. And sometimes someone does really well from just blind luck even though they aren't the best of the best. It's a strange world we live in... But all we have at the moment!
Well you're right. Watching the Olympics this morning just brought this reflecting in my mind and I see how even the best of people can fail .
That's just like I suppose...
Truly, life is not fair. It’s heartbreaking seeing people put their best in something but they still won’t achieve it.
At the same time, some people still get everything they want and may not even put a lot of effort but things just go so well for them…
Well, it's reality.. there's no better way to put it
Sharp!!!!
I love your lifestyle, checking out for updates on many things(sports, finance and life generally).
That's life you my brother. There are always individuals that seems to be unbeatable in some areas of life, but guess what, we are also like that to some people.
Everyone in one way is a hero to others but it's left for us to find our place to shine.
Thanks for sharing my boss, enjoy your day.
Well like you put it, everyone can be a hero to another person. However if you ask me, I think it just makes life so competitive in nature and sometimes there are people who do not have the capacity to compete just like others.
Well, updates helps you to generally know what's happening
Life is either one
You lose or you fail
I haven't watched gymnastics competitions in quite a while. Judging can seem kind of subjective sometimes for my untrained eye. But on the topic, I couldn't agree more, sometimes you won't win even if you are more than prepared to do it. If it's a competition and you end up in the wrong generation, with someone exceptional, you'll always be second best (if you are lucky).
It's always unfair isn't it. But there's always someone who will always do better, they're just extraordinary equipped and sometimes they're more than the best that anyone can offer.
The Olympics was enjoyable and I really did learn a lot watching it..
One can learn a lot regarding years of training with a goal in mind. This kind of focus, drive, and thrive for excellency isn't for everybody.
Its funnier when you watching a football match and you hear fans of the opposite team bragging so hard about thier team and down grading others, fanaticism in this country is just too much 😄....
I really like Simone Biles, her performance shows its isn't just about the olympic, or preparing hard for it, its passion, its what she's lived for all her live, its like she was born for it
Yes, it felt like she was born for it..
Hmmm, life isn't balanced a tall, even the holy book says the strong does not always win the battle, neither does the swift win the race. The goal is to keep going even though it's really hard.
You're right about this.
