Boredom In Crypto: Ask Me Anything

It is one of the most boring times in cryptocurrency because we are out of the bear but not yet into the bull; we are getting there but not quite there. However, BTC spikes have created the impression that we have already arrived by breaking its previous ATH and currently settling at 68k, just 1k plus below its previous ATH.

The previous bull market had these 12AM to 3AM price spikes, with someone waking up at midnight to write about it and yelling for others to get out of bed to trade and take advantage. It was the most exciting aspect of being in a bull run. There is not much to talk about in crypto right now, aside from ETF discussions, which are still boring.

Every speculation or discussion is currently boring, which I believe is due to the fact that we can no longer discuss the bear market, which has ended. Overall, there is nothing new, and speculators and influencers can no longer farm engagement on X (Twitter). As a Hive creator, I have noticed that it is primarily impacted my ability to create; I used to be a very versatile creator, and I sometimes resist the temptation to create anything that contains an element of "me".

"Me" in the sense that I am always the focus of more than half of my content. However, this is the habit of a creator who does not want to run out of content. My ability to create stems from projecting my life experiences into topics such as cryptocurrency, which I generally enjoy discussing. When I first joined the Chain, I wrote poems, comedy, and even music, followed by motivational content, food photography, regular photography, vlogging, and many other things.

I enjoy creating a variety of things, but over the years, I have focused my content on cryptocurrency because I discovered that I get excited talking about it as a topic. I have read the content of some of the best crypto creators in the space, such as edicted and taskmaster; it is not that I create the type of crypto content they do, but they are masters in their craft, and their ability to weave stories to sustain retention to their content is a true demonstration of mastery.

An Identity Of Contenting

For me, I am more of a shallow crypto creator; nothing too exciting or analytical, just a bit of simplicity with a heavy dose of personism, if that is a word.

So, I am not sure if I have reached the point of this post. But, because I am doing that, I will include a small subplot. I had a toxic family session with my extended family yesterday; turns out those people want money for some irrelevant vanity, and they made it very compulsory for me and my cousins to contribute money, and I tried to talk to them about my illnesses and the living expenses of my personal family (since I probably have lost all of my nuclear family).

It turns out that these people did not know much about me; I was primarily there as a piece to contribute money when the occasion arose. I did not want to call them a shit family because that is how I feel, but this is what prompted me to include this twist in today's post.

An AMA: Ask me as anything

So I will get right to it. I am going to make this post an AMA, which stands for ASK ME ANYTHING. I figured they chose not to know anything about me because they did not want to, so I will just throw it open and invite you to ask me anything.

I am not going to exclude anything, no matter how crazy the question is. However, I reserve the right to withhold any information I deem appropriate and to respond in any way I see fit, but you are welcome to ask any question you may have. If your question is interesting, I'll throw in up to 40% of my vote weight in the comment, provided my VW doesn't go below 75%. Goodluck.

Hi good friend, Indeed it's quite fascinating how boredom in crypto can lead to unexpected discoveries and learning. I've found myself diving into new projects just out of curiosity, and it's amazing how much you can learn along the way. That's literally how I even stumbled on Hive😁 thanks for this amazing blog bro

Many people has been speculating that the summer will be great for The crypto space and how are you preparing for The crypto summer?

What are your expectations and concerns about hive?

Who is your hive crush😂?

I'm not really preparing that much, I'm hoping my HBD will be enough to keep paying for my hospital bills and medications, and also to take care of my family. However, I'm hoping to mainly sell hive for HBD and keep that HBD, then God willing I will use it to buyback Hive during the bear market. God willing, because anything can happen and nothing is certain.

As for Hive, I think we're spending too much of the DHF funding on proposals that aren't good enough. We need good proposals towards marketing. My own opinion though, I think the vibes contests is not really doing much for hive.

As for expectations Hive might likely hit $3 at the peak of the market again. For best, it might do up up 4$ and nothing more than that.

For Hive crush, it used to be this port Harcourt lady, I've forgotten her name now, I'll edit this reply when I remember. Yes her name is meyatengi.

I pray you get well soon bro, so that you can buy hive anytime soon. I don't have much hbd because I have been depending on Naira which is a terrible idea now.

I pray we see 4-7$ at the peak of the bull run which is not too much considering what we have built recently.

I don't know that lady but there must be something about her😄

Sorry to hear about the bad session, we cannot choose our families sadly. My question would be, when did you start on Hive and what brought you here? Thanks & all the best with the health issues, I also have some and know how much of inner struggle it can be.

The health issues can be a bummer. It's chronic, quite rare and a bummer, but it's the genes I was born with.
I started on Hive in September 2017. I wasn't completely in until January 2018.

A friend saw that I was able to do online stuffs and all then introduced Hive to me, and I just gave it a go, I loved it from the onset, and one been here since then.

This place is incredible. It has its flaws and all, but it's futuristic and usable.

What crypto projects (tokens or coins) do you think have the potential to do well during the bull run?
And also which would you advise anyone to invest in?

Obviously BTC will do well, I think some Solana based project. Ethereum too. I think meme coins like doge too might as well.

I think Hive might do well, I don't know if better than the last bull run, but it's always going to be dangerous to underestimate Hive.

Mostly Hive should do well. But I cannot really say, anything is possible with the market. It's only the beginning meya

Oh really? I'll do more personal research on them.

I just hope Hive does well in this bull run, it will be amazing.

Thanks for sharing this with me 🤗

Well let's hope say. At the moment, there are people who are doing things that are ensuring the opposite and it can be saddening.

Wow! There's really more to this that I don't know.
So people are intentionally doing things to make it not work, that's very messed up.
Sorry for the late reply

It would seem so, however, we have more people working hard to also make it work.

What are your top five favorite coins that you are holding for the bull?

0

I have mostly sold all the coins I'm holding. But if I can buy at the moment. I'll mostly focus on the eth, Hive, BTC. There's a lot of uncertainty out there and if someone like me has the money, I'll focus on projects I know.

Hmmm good to know, hive is the only go to for me out of the one you mentioned, The other two are already big and can't maximize my profit.

You're right, but obviously if one has the money, these two can make you huge profits in a long time. Not short-term profit but you'll eventually make profit.

However Hive eventually has the capacity to get you X10 or X15, but one might need tens of thousands of Hive, especially if it gets to 3$ or more. Hopefully it can, the well pressure at the moment is too much

You know bitcoin cant do 10x?

so imagine putting 40k dollars on bitcoin and putting such amount on alt like hive or any other potential coins, ofcourse the alt will make us more m0ney than bitcoin

That's what I'm exactly saying Hive can do X10 BTC can't. But BTC over let's say a decade is certain to do well. 40k$ might not make you too much profit with BTC, it's mostly an investment for rich people but it comes with a certainty of some sort.

I owned some eth when it was really low in 2020 or so and I made some good money. I didn't use it wisely. My point is Hive is way better for someone with small money, but if one doesn't own decent liquid the money might not be life-changing
The best way to take advantage of hive is selling for HBD and selling back during the bear market.

I obviously don't take my own advice and that's because of my recent illnesses where I've spent a lot

Hang in there! Crypto's slow but BTC's making moves. Your passion for it shines through in your work. Family stuff can be tough, but remember, you're more than just a wallet to them. Keep being authentic in your content; it's what makes it special.

I think I already know how you think, you take a very similar approach to things like I do. Are you investing much off on Hive in other projects? I'm not putting much more money into anything at the moment.

I use to own some eth, and BTC too, sold them off, took profit and didn't reinvest. Aside that I don't think I have anything material in real life. Even if I did own, the way I love hive and how much it's been instrumental to me, I'd have thrown that money into Hive.

Have your investments in crypto worked out? I know that Hive tends to be an outlier as we can earn here but other cryptos aren't the same and I was wondering how those investments worked outside of Hive.

My investment were surprising in BTC and eth and they panned out well as I did make profit from them in 2021. Right now I'm no longer investing as I don't have the means to, but I did pretty much make profit in 2021.

I think you're a versatile and a very creative content creator, there are always lessons embedded in your post and to me, it's quite relatable and understandable the way you deliver it.

My question will be mostly about Hive, how do you see the ecosystem evolving especially from a user and creator's viewpoint?

0

The ecosystem is generally consisting of all kinds of applications, I do feel that with time more gaming apps will come to the chain and there will be other apps that should propel this chain. However, the witnesses needs to make decisions that are good for the chain, good decisions will determine how far we can go.

Yes, gaming projects are on the rise within the ecosystem. I think non-gaming apps could be a game changer on introducing Hive to a new set of users, for example, a skill or service based marketplace app.
