Mental Health & The Human Psychological Anatomy
Mental health is a prevalent issue in human society and this is because of how unaware and unconscious many people are about it. In this video, I talked about its complexities and how we often underestimate the extent and reach of this silent killer. In the video, I explained why it's prevalent and the impact of societal tools in tackling or aggravating it.

Mental Health is so under-rated and I think it’s because a lot of people are not still well informed about it.
I remember a colleague of mine while in Pre-Med he kept saying he had mental health issues. What did we know as 200l students so a lot of people didn’t even believe him thinking he was just giving excuses to skip classes.
He eventually had to withdraw from MedSchool as advised by his Psychiatrist. Apparently it was deeper than we all thought and that was the time I was aware that mental health was a big deal.
Mental health is a great deal, I've dealt with it in the past and it was overwhelming. It's complicated and that's why in the video I mentioned that people who go through it finds it difficult to be forthcoming, sometimes we can't find people who truly understands what it means unless we've experienced it firsthand. In reality, it can halt dreams and destroy destinies. The stigma alone is another thing. I believe one thing we can do is to choose to be deeply conscious and aware beyond this normal plane.
Hmmm.... valid!

Thanks alot for this important topic. Generally people don't take their mental health very important in this part of the world, but deeply people are going through alot. I remember sometime last year when we had several cases of depression and Students taking sniper in my school. At a point we had to establish a mental health club with a hotline where people can call and share their worries anonymously. It helped. But the challenge is that people with mental health challenges don't even think that they need help. That's a big problem
Thank you for this. People tend to overlook what mental health is and how it impact our daily lives and interactions with other. It is an enlightening watch
After all it is mental health that matters most. As for me, it is one of the precious assets I have to take care for. My inner peace is more than important. Let is always take care of our mental health.
