A Rewarder Of Them That Diligently Seek it.
What a dramatic title init? But yes, Hebrew 11:6, and wait, there's something you should know
Anyways I'm a person who is always flexible, growth is something I usually aim for and it's a value I usually seek in people as well. This is because I believe that people need to realize that there's nothing wrong with following the long way, shortcuts get things done but it takes away the most valuable lessons, which means you grow in finances, grow in the necessary aspects but fail to learn the necessary lessons that come with growth. A lot of people do not want to do things the organic way and this is because it's challenging. Sometimes we envisage the results without balancing them with the thoughts of sacrifice and work.
Making us underestimate the pain we might go through. I have a lot of people I respect on Hive and this is because subconsciously, these people have taught me. There's a guy I know here building his splinterlands deck, and he's painstakingly doing it, putting in money and making the sacrifice. Now, he's not even sure when he'll begin to get the megabucks for his investments, he's a staunch investor who loves the rudimentary of investing and this alone has endeared me to supporting him even if it's just tiny. The reality is when and if splinterlands takes off and do about x1000 for example, his investments might be in the region of $500,000 when it comes to the value and a lot of people might say he was lucky or that he is fortunate.
The truth is that everyone has an equal opportunity to be fortunate, it's just that some people cannot pay the price
I like learning from the growth process of people, it motivates and challenges me. There was a lady I use to know here, I felt we could collaborate, do some business deals, and both win together. I was supposed to help her set up goals to grow her account, help her with when to buy hive, channel them to HBD, take off the profit, power it up and all, in real-time, we could meet up, invest in real-time business since she had the means. I was relishing this, but it turned out she only wanted to milk as much as she can rather than grow and spread the result of the growth, I immediately withdrew the situationship and we became strangers once more.
In reality, some people do not understand that a place like Hive is cyclical, even if you're not directly impacting anyone, let your goals and effort reflect and people can see and it might motivate them. This is one of the reasons why power downs are frowned upon. One's account action often reflects their intent towards the chain and because you have people who are keeping the value, it'll become a typical "keepers and takers" situation. It gives off the vibe that you're not interested in the future of the platforms and this is why hive and the relationship it has often formed with Twitter influencers have not panned out well. These guys are invited to do a good job of marketing this place, it turns out that only want to dump links and milk without bringing anything in return, hence the downvotes come and it ends badly.
A Reflection Of Value
When people build their goals, the quality of these goals doesn't just reflect on them, it reflects on others. In reality, Hive is aiming to grow beyond this stage, so it needs that belief and attention. A lot of people have been complaining about splinterlands lately, saying it's all about money, but the truth is, it's the business aspect of it that eventually keeps the gaming interest. People are saying it's firstly a game, but if the money isn't there will they want to try out a game without incentive, when their first choice would be COD or need for speed?. They're rewarding their biggest investors because they're the ones who keep the money in. To the splinterland inc, it's first a business before a game and their reasons are legitimate and justifiable. I am a believer in symbioticness
Win, let me win, and let's collectively win. This isn't just about crypto or any crypto-related project, it's how the world should be.
You have people texting you automatically when they need something and after that, they disappear into the wild until they need something again. Irrespective of what goals a group of people is building, if it doesn't involve collectively winning, then it's useless. Let people win from you too, it's mostly not about money, sometimes it can come from non-monetary value, you do not need money to add value. In the world, there are bringers, keepers, and even maintainers. Hive is a representation of reality and this is why we haven't found the perfect rhythm. That element of human nature is there, while this can be a bane, growth is inevitable it'll only take a ridiculous amount of time.
Let your actions inspire people, even if you're not directly beneficial to them, and be a motivation and a reason why they'll want to set goals for themselves. Keep it real. People are the value, and the money that comes with it is a validation of that relationship. Hive reflects real life, you cannot be invincible to others and have them visible to you. I'm still learning every day and sometimes when I cut off certain relationships it's when people do not let their winnings reflect in others. Be a rewarder of them that diligently seek it.

Paying the price is sometimes a rather lengthy endeavor. Many begin with good intentions but are eventually worn down... A strong mind and a strong will is imperative!

Yeah you're right, but what's worth doing needs mental fortitude, there's absolutely no way to go forward than to move forward.

What in the world is situationship? 😂😂😂😂
Your title is amazing. It reminded me of how I went to church, and the pastor said a phrase, I noted it, came home, created a post out of it, and it did well ... I was so happy 😊
Now, you just used the scripture to encourage us to build, receive value, store up those values, and give to others too.
This is impressive.
I am sorry your business deal with that lady didn't work out.
I am positive splinterlands will bounce back.
And everything else that's struggling in the platform. Time is our ally at the moment.
Good morning, @josediccus, I hope you had a good sleep? ☺️
Loool a situationship, sort of like, I meant to say we were entangled in a business relationship, but it feel apart and became an unpleasant situation. I thought of the things we could have accomplished but sadly, the goals weren't aligned.
It definitely should, I mean that guy's my inspiration, building from nothing and investing from his hard earned money. Even if it wasn't my deck he was building, I am loving his spirit.
As a writer, you gotta be flexible you know hahaha, anything is an inspiration. The world is a book, the content is a skill we make of it.
I didn't oh, it's been cold, who likes to be cold?
Hahaha. I understand. It was just funny how you coined the word out of the entanglement 😅
Now, that I have met him through your description of him, and his excellent spirit, I am loving his spirit too. 🤗
I totally agree. I was amazed by how we could tweak a lot of things and use them as muse for our writing journeys.
Hehehehe, double your bedsheets 😝😝😝
We all need someone to tap into their hardwork to act as an inspiration to us. Everyone needs a success story to feel motivated. The guy is a success story even if it's still at a zygote stage.
Yeah. I agree. And I am positive that his success story will metamorphose into something bigger soon 🙌
Ha, you have made me blow big grammar now 😃😂 @josediccus has infected me with his big grammar syndrome 😅
PEAK: it's in you.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂
If I cut my lips nkor? 🤷🤣
You'll be eventually rewarded for diligently seeking it.
Oh my goodness, now, he turned our grammar conversation to the title of his post 😂
Lol, at first, when I saw your topic, I was wondering if you were trying to coat a Bible verse but reading through, I saw that it was really different.. There is never a short cut in the aspect of finance, it is either you know what you are doing or you don't at all. But when you don't, there is no way you can actually fit in the process. It's just for you to run at loss..
Looool it was the bible verse and some thoughts that motivated me lol hahaha. I think I quoted it to suit the narrative, thanks man.
Wao! That's so lovely, the heading alone got my attention to want to know what you were driving at.😃😃
Some people believe in luck, but many of those people that do fail to understand that luck mainly works out for those that have actually been "diligently seeking it." I am not disputing that there are some individuals that are actually fortunate to receive something they did not seek. But let's not forget that the universe is not fair to everybody. You simply have to put in the effort to ensure that you will reap the benefits.
Of all the types of people that I meet in life, I am only interested in one type; those that are willing to grow and that I can grow with. It is only a matter of time till degradation fully sets in when one cultivates relationships with people with trivial thinking.
Hive is an ecosystem aiming and chasing after growth. Most definitely, those who are not inclined towards this vision (or motive) will receive the backlash of it. And it is those "painstakers" that will reap the benefits of the growth if they are steadfast.
In the end, it is those that diligently seek it that will be rewarded. There's no magic here.
Hahaha a man after my heart. In reality, I think you've said it all, the universe isn't fair to everyone and we cannot wait to be lucky when we can actually prepare ourselves for luck to happen to us. I think sometimes our intentions matters a lot and this is something we must understand too. The intention to grow is selfless and sometimes it impacts the ordinary people in ways they wouldn't understand. Building a symbiotic process is important sometimes.
Hive is a reflection of reality if you ask me, it's pure grinding.
If you ask me too, I'd say the same thing: Hive is a reflection of reality. You just get to see people mirrored in their work with their attitudes and intentions (like you have said).
Intentions are the basic foundation of our every motive. But I believe that intentions change, and they can do so quite easily. I think right after intentions, having the propensity to chase growth matters too. That way, people remain true to their "intentions" by feeling the natural tendency to always long for progress.
I agree with using actions to prove yourself. People who show up when the prices are high and then disappear when it's not are not really people that are that committed. It does give them some opportunities to earn some money but people will remember the people who stick around.

Exactly, people will notice those who stuck around, to make here great, it's simple we need to keep in the value, there's no two ways about it.

The attribute of a true preacher has been brought out in you today lol, most people on haven't relent seeing some people's growth here one way or the other and this makes them feel they can ask grow. That is a motivation on its own without even looking at the money aspect
Hahaha well the bible reiterates the importance of effort and the development that comes with it, so I thought I should also use that as well to emphasize the point in this post.
Thats true though
Hehehe... I thought Jose wants to preach from the Bible today 😂😂😂 but reading to the end, I enjoyed it.
In summary, I believe everyone who wants to grow must be intentional about it. If we aren't ready to make the full sacrifice, how do we grow? It's all a matter of what will I learn from this while going through the process? In the end, what matters most is how well you have been able to learn from the lessons and working on them to be the best.
Even the Bible says if we do not work diligently for it, we can never be rewarded. Though, luck may come to those who didn't put much effort, but it's for a little while because one would definitely miss the lessons they ought to learn from so they can keep making headway with it.
These are people whose intention is to milk and game the system but it won't keep working for them.
Interesting article as usual 👏👏
Hahaha well the bible teaches the necessity of work, adding value, sharing it and being a recipient of it. I use to tell people to add value it's not just about what they offer, it's about how it impacts others and actually motivate them. Sometimes our actions can motivate or demotivate people, keeping the value in and trying hard to sustain it will eventually motivate others. There's an inevitable reward for believing in the future of hive and this is why everyone should be encouraged to seek diligently for growth and wait for when it'll be paid forward.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, I wanted to use that particular place of the bible to teach a valuable lesson.
Just as the part of the scripture that says “he who has ears, let him hear.....” It will definitely pay off later and the ones who had worked for it today will reap the reward.
You actually passed the message well.
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)
Love this verse. Good reminder that God is the Rewarder, and it is only through faith.
Thanks, I'm glad you could reckon with this verse. I tried to lay emphasis on this bible verse with circumstances surrounding people on hive. Thanks for the comment..

This is true and can't be taken away from what Hive is, I draw a lot of motivation from Hive, there are people if I don't see there content at the normal time they often post I get to question is this person okay, we are feeding off each other positively on here, you don't get this out there.

Hahaha it's crazy isn't it? Sometimes we form a sort of habit on hive which somehow creates a personality for us. People can affiliate this personality to us because it's a cyclical process. I believe we should do more to motivate and encourage ourselves to build.
Joe, your topic got me thinking out loud, at first I thought you wanna teach us the scripture today 😂, but then I read down and indeed, those that diligently seek it will be rewarded.
Coming to hive and understanding how the system works, one need to be intentional about it. Receive and make every effort to give back. Ever since I learnt the importance of having a good value of HP, I haven't considered powering down and I hope that emergency issues that may push me to that will not come my way.
Sorry about the lady you already helped to set goals for and she later vanished! It's individual approach to the system, some are here to stick come rain come shine and strive to see the growth of the Blockchain while some has a short term goal.
Thanks for sharing your view👌👍🤝
The importance of HP cannot be overstated. Infact there are people who are building other types of assets her and hoping the fortunes in the future can actually favor them, I think it takes a lot of time to build what one wants to enjoy and it's not just hive. Loyalty is appreciated everywhere and people needs to understand that one cannot just come to life to take alone, at one point in time you have to give it out, whether we know them or we don't, reciprocal value will always be relevant in life.
Diligence is the principal thing and going to the top requires lefting others as well. Hebrew 11 is indeed full of words of encouragement for the now. Believe is important being diligent with what you do is another and working with others is the ladder. Thanks for lighting my new week with great grace.
I known you since the days of steemchurch and you have always that source of inspiration to me.
People don’t understand the importance of building gradually but we want instant result. To be successful we must be intentional

It's challenging to build, this is true but it's also not impossible to do so, you're also a great source of inspiration and I believe in the splinterlands future and I think you're preparing for that massive time. I congratulate you in advance.
Oh, God! @josediccus I taught you wanted to teach or preach the word of God. When I saw the passage, I had to open and read. Reading, it didn't contain biblical content until you brought the woman in picture. So, sorry for wasting your time and at the end she ran.
She is not the only one, who have ran away from hive, because what they have in mind doesn't align with. If actually she deligently seek it she would have found what she wanted or probably solve other part her life, business.
Thank you for this piece
One way or another, I used that definitive bible verse to actually emphasize the fact that diligence brings a lot of rewards, so sometimes it's one aspect of content creating. The ability to switch things up and make it more exciting.
Thank you for reading, as for that lady, there will always be disappointments in life.
I’m not an oldie here, But I know this much:
Hive is for long term thinkers, and if you honestly have any love for Hive, you’re already thinking long term, and everything you do reflects that.
Being here to milk the reward pool will almost always backfire, because everything you’ll do in attempts to milk it will just increase your chances of not milking it- drop and run, shit posting with no engagement, plagiarism, power downs and all.
The community gives, and we are the community. There’s power in community, but the community is people of long term mindsets. It’s crazy imagining how much support a well established community of even minnow accounts can give each other. There’d be no over dependence on curators or anything like that because every single minnow vote is a curator vote, and collectively they could give a decent orca vote.
The reality is, people eventually need to be long-termed. Milking is something that might do a lot of harm. Even places like YouTube sets a standard of monetization even if eventually people choose to abuse the platform, the mega money is there to go around. Hive hasn't gotten that mega money yet. So that's why people are majorly hoping to keep the value rather than have it abused and all that, we must hope for bigger traction every soon, because it'll do a lot of good
When I saw the title, I immediately thought this is going to be interesting and I was right.
The way you drew out meaning and lessons from just a passage is amazing.
Some people think luck is all there is after seeing the results of others, they don't mind the work and effort put in, and they admire the output but are never ready to issue an input.
Indeed, collectively we can will, but we should learn to understand that where there is value, results will be gotten.
Well, it's true we often understate the aspect of work and overstate the money that comes with it and forgot the sacrifices and the challenges that should be emphasized and talked about. It's the thing about people that sends a wrong message. Thanks for coming through.
Speaking about the work involved should be paramount as well as sharing the results, but I guess as humans, we tend to align more with the results, doing everything else but getting our minds ready for the work involved.
You are welcome
Everyone has the same opportunity but not everyone is ready to pay the sacrifice so they term it as luck. These are hitting words my brother.
Some people never see that they can get value by contributing value. It doesn’t have to be money but doing something that contribute to others as well.
That’s one thing about Hive, your goals have to reflect and when people see it. They would support because they see how willingly you are to grow and add value to the chain.
Exactly, value is relative and can come in various forms. This is why everyone should actually check within themselves and see the type of value they can offer, there's no two ways to hive, one has to reflect what they want to have and own. This is the importance of keeping the value and bringing something to the table always.
Cheers man, your efforts each day is going a long way. Well-done.
Like my tribe would say, you can't hold out your fist and expect to be able to grab a thing. It means, you cannot expect to receive when you don't give, and in reality, the ability to reach out to people brings you more luck and connect, of course, the circle of a responsible set would help one thrive.
It is no doubt that this luck only finds them that do these things diligently because, reaching out with the hope of having back only earns one disappointment.
This is very true. I saw a clip yesterday, a guy was talking about a 22 year old who was able to make about a million dollar from trading a shitcoin. He said he thought the guy is doomed because now he'll never learn, he won't get a real job, won't learn the necessities of the market and he'll keep gambling on shitcoins until he's left with nothing.
Building can be a painstakingly long process, but it will remain permanent. People often forget that life is a journey and finding quick hacks to life will eventually tell. It's like playing the snake and ladder game; you think you're lucky climbing up the ladder until you step on the snake. That shi is damn painful 😂😂.
Thanks for sharing this; it has added value to me.
Pastor Joe. This is an excellent piece. After all, the day we stop learning is the day we start dying.
About the collective win thingy you pointed out, it is important that we're not the only ones winning in our cycle of friends. It just makes too much sense to see that as we grow, the people around us grow too. And this is why I try as much as I can to offer help in the best of my capacity to people who ask for my help. It's also one of the reasons I do not take some of my friends for granted, I've learned so much from them.
