The plant is the work of a company from the United Arab Emirates and another company from Indonesia and also local companies, the interesting thing is that this is only the first phase, the second they want to reach 500 mw of power and that is not the end of it. , because a few days ago the United Arab Emirates launched the Alfa solar energy plant and this is the largest in the world.

This solar plant is 35 km from Abu Dhabi, covers an area of 20 square km, has 4 million photovoltaic modules and produces two gigawatts of energy, enough to supply 200,000 homes. It was jointly developed by two companies from the United Arab Emirates. Abu Dhabi futur Energy Company and the Abu Dhabi National Energy Company in addition to the French electricity company EDF and a Chinese solar developer also participated.

This is only the beginning, the Arab country plans to multiply its solar energy production by three before 2030 and it gives food for thought because the United Arab Emirate currently has 4.3% of the world's share of oil production, but oil is not going to last forever and the Emiratis are not stupid and are investing the wealth they have in education, in technological development and in projecting this new type of technologies such as solar energy for the day when it runs out and the oil wells run out.
