For many years, certain sensationalist media have used asteroids and solar storms to sell the apocalypse and catastrophes, and of course the end of the world.

The problem is small asteroids and for this we humans are already developing technologies capable of deflecting or destroying them, there is a program underway, next month we will have a historic event the first time an attempt will be made to deflect an asteroid it will be the mission of NASA's Dart and also not only is NASA, the US involved in this program to try to save the planet or to have a planetary protection system, there are also plans by the European Union and China .

But if we look up, looking towards the cosmos, looking at what we have our part of the universe that corresponds to us, this week seven known asteroids will have their closest approach to earth and as I said before they scare us with sensational headlines, because all of them are small and will pass very far, the one that will come closest is 2022 QN5 it is only 16 to 35 meters in diameter and will pass more than 930 thousand kilometers away and the largest of this week's asteroids has 34 to 76 meters is also small and will pass a little over 2 million kilometers away.
