He estado algo preocupado estos días, gracias a que muy pronto tengo que presentar un "examen final" de hecho se llama "Evaluación acreditativa final" (EVAF) y de esta evaluación depende si me graduó como medico o no, es el ultimo examen que nos hacen en la carrera y realmente me tiene bastante estresado, tanto así que desde hace algunos días he tenido ultimadamente con un bloqueo creativo bastante abrumador, el cual me ha llegado a impedir el desarrollo musical para mis interpretaciones de Hive...

I have been a little worried these days, thanks to the fact that very soon I have to take a “final exam” in fact it is called “Final Accreditation Evaluation” (EVAF) and this evaluation depends on whether I graduate as a doctor or not, it is the last exam that we do in the race and really has me quite stressed, so much so that for some days I have had lately with a creative block quite overwhelming, which has come to prevent the musical development for my interpretations of Hive...

Pero sigo intentando relajarme con la música, explorando nuevas áreas y rincones musicales que me ayuden a descansar la mente... Es decir, distrayéndome en una actividad totalmente diferente y así descanso un poco del estrés acumulado por los nervios que siento ante el examen... Para esta presentación en la semana número 106 y ronda número 1 del festival, he traído este tema musical quizás poco conocido, es una música italiana que se utilizó para una película «Arrivederci Roma» (1955) Y casualmente la canción tiene el mismo título que la película, la misma es letra de Pietro Garinei y Sandro Giovannini, y la melodía musical es de Renato Rascel....

But I still try to relax with music, exploring new areas and musical corners that help me to rest my mind... That is to say, by distracting myself in a totally different activity and so I rest a little of the accumulated stress due to the nerves I feel about the exam... For this presentation in week number 106 and round number 1 of the festival, I have brought this musical theme perhaps little known, is an Italian music that was used for a movie “Arrivederci Roma” (1955) And coincidentally the song has the same title as the film, the same is lyrics by Pietro Garinei and Sandro Giovannini, and the musical melody is by Renato Rascel...

La encontré en la tonalidad de Fa mayor, me arriesgué a tocarla sin conocer muy bien la música italiana, pero así exploro mucho más la variabilidad musical que existe en el mundo.... Es casi como si un italiano escuchara llanera (cosa que estoy seguro que no ocurre a menudo). Probablemente les resulte extraño, ya que supongo que no están acostumbrados a escucharla en Italia... Fue un reto para mí, ¡pero sé que la próxima vez que toque una canción parecida lo haré mucho mejor!

I found it in the key of F major, I took the risk to play it without knowing very well the Italian music, but in this way I explore much more the musical variability that exists in the world.... It's almost as if an Italian listens to llanera (which I'm sure doesn't happen often). It probably feels strange for them, since I guess they're not used to hear it in Italy... It was a challenge for me, but I know that the next time I play a similar song I will do much better!

👆 Ahí arriba les dejo la partitura que use para esta humilde interpretación, como mencione anteriormente la misma esta en Fa Mayor pero esto hablando orquestalmente, porque como se darán cuenta esta partitura es de trompeta y se encuentra en Sol Mayor, pero la trompeta es un instrumento "Transportador" quiere decir que siempre esta un tono por encima de la orquesta, o en este caso el trombón...

Above I leave you the score I used for this humble interpretation, as I mentioned before it is in F major but orchestrally speaking, because as you will notice this score is for trumpet and it is in G major, but the trumpet is a “transposing” instrument, that means it is always one tone above the orchestra, or in this case the trombone....
