Wanna Win? Plan Your Week!
I've spoken about this before on my blog but I thought it would be a great reminder for creators on $LEO
It's the middle of January now and that means most of the people that started the year with 'New Year's Resolutions' have given up. There may be a few that will make into February but generally....This is the time, success is determined for many.
It comes down to goal planning to me, and when you put your goals on paper you have something to shoot for. Sure, you need actionable steps to achieve them, but this technique I'm about to share....Is pretty much a guarantee to have an epic year on the platform.
You need to plan your ENTIRE week for content creation!
Which means, you aren't going to be sitting around on Friday, wondering what you are going to write about. No writer's block for you because guess what....You've already planned your week.
I'm actually planning (see what I did there) a post later this week that'll give you the tools to have a never ending supply of content ideas, but on this post, let's focus on your daily activities.
You can choose to ignore this if you wish, but speaking from experience this has been my go to plan to always have content ready to rock:
I print one of these out each and every month. (I'll give you guys an image you can save and print out at the bottom of this post as well) And I'm using this one as an example as how I set things up....
For this example, we'll say that the 1st off the month falls on Sunday. On Sundays, I know I'm doing my 'Sports Nerd show'. 4 weeks in the month, I fill out each and every Sunday to know, that's what I'm doing.
Then we move to Mondays, this is what I call my 'free style' day. There is no set agenda for this day of content, I usually pick something from my 'idea journal' and bang out a piece of content. Funny enough, this 'plan your week' post has been in my idea journal for a few weeks now, so I knew today I would have content ready to go.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, I have the Crypto Maniacs podcast with @taskmaster4450 and in between on Wednesdays, my brand new live stream - Leo Live.
Friday is another free style day, and to end the week, Saturday I have #myleogoals post.
My week is planned. My month is planned. There is absolutely no stress in my life when it comes to figuring out, what to write about. Again, I combine this with my idea journal and some other tools to have a constant stream of things to write about and I'm all set!
I also use the side of my planner to write down a few reminders for me to keep on task...
Engage on Threads daily!
Make sure to power up some $LEO daily as well
When you follow a plan like this, you'll start getting 'really lucky'. Really lucky in the sense that you'll be getting people used to seeing you every day. You'll be adding value to the platform. And in the process, growing your stake. If you do this for an entire year.....Game. Set. Match!

Having a planner or at least planning activities either if it's just for a day or a week, makes life a lot easier. There's a lot of pressure taken away if you are organized.
So much less stress on our lives when we plan!
Absolutely! I actually started searching on Google for a planner notebook to purchase for myself after running into your post, lol! 😆
I started this strategy some where around the late months of last year (2023) and didn't regret planing for my week days just as setting goals for the year. Thanks for this information because now I want to do better.

Perfect plan, with good schedule one can never ran out of what to do, I started with this week and so the month goes, I will check every Sunday evening to see if I was able to reach the goal .
A planner is a winner no doubt about it.
That's the trick, checking your stats after 7 days....You can adjust for the next week.
That's exactly what am doing, and that's why am awake by 4:23am I don't want to disappoint myself.

I want that Hivebuzz yearly batch, I had the same idea for 2024 and so far so good, sometimes changes here and there because it wont be perfect, there are times when the world is against you so I try to have 1 or 2 post ready to publish if possible, been active every day plus an 8-5 aint easy for me but Im still going 😅✌️
Absolutely. I always have at least 2-3 posts ready to go if I'm super stuck. But when I'm planning my weeks in advance, I'll have plenty to pick from.
I have been following your advice and that has helped me have some HP growth over the year. Powering up mindset has helped me once I reach specific goal, I'd delegate and then think about taking out profit, but long way for that. I wish I had time for the LEO threads but the job and the other routine kind of blocks me on that but I do make daily post on hive that is as much as I can do about this.
The key is to be active every day, no matter what front end or platform you choose. That's a win no matter what.
A plan like this would really make anyone's goals easier to achieve. Still, hats off to everyone who could publish content everyday. You guys are the peg.
As for me, I only have put on my schedule a part of the day where I should sit and make Hive content. So far, not happening. 😓
Anyone can inspire us, but motivation comes from within. You find the motivation, you'll knock it out of the park!
It's a nice plan. I don't have a set schedule and I tend to write what I feel like though I have a few things that I write on certain days. Other days, I work around what I have but I definitely think it's easier with a defined plan
I just know what I'm doing every day. No stress, because that is a big time watser, trying to figure out what to write about.

Having an actionable plan is a prerequisite to achieving any goal. Without it goals are just mere wishes. And that would come in handy especially for Hive goals for the new year. Thanks for sharing this very important tip.

I think one of the best ways to reach our goals is always to plan ahead about what we're going to do and when we're going to do it. We stay organized, and keep the momentum going :)

That's why I think planning your week is so important. Especially anyone that works offchain.
This is a really great idea. It's been less stressful for me knowing that on Tuesday I will be doing a music post and Friday I will be doing a finance post. It takes a burden off knowing I only have three days that I need to find content for versus five!
Absolutely! So much less stress. Knowing that our weeks are planned out!
I always make some posting plans, but mostly fail to follow them. However I manage to post every day. I guess my perseverance keeps me going, although I realize that I need to learn disciplining myself to follow the plan
Print that calendar out and fill it with the days you plan to create content. And then hold yourself accountable to it!
