trying out CelebriTea Café 😀 for the 1st time📢
And just like that we are officially halfway through September😳
Is it not amazing how the days seem to be too fast and too slow at the same time? It is super weird, I know. As we get close to the Yuletiude season how do you feel about the holidays coming your way, Hive friend? Are you excited? Are you overwhelmed? Do let me know in the comments below! 🎄🎁🎅🏻🦌
Anyway today's post let me bring you to this milk tea bar I recently went to a couple of days ago. It is celebritea café located in IT Park, near the Concentrix building, this store is beside Starbucks.
I wanted to try their milktea ever since I saw the store months ago, but for some reasons I never got to get inside the place, since I normally just pass by the place when I go to the bus station. But one day I decided to finally give it a try and see what the "buzz" is about in Facebook regarding this shoppe.
The place is small so it's not ideal to stay long and study or whatnot in this café (like most millennials/gen Zers do these days). Additionally it's not the "usual Instagrammable" ones with on-point aesthetics like most of the new cafes are everywhere. What I like about it is that it's simple and straightforward when it comes to the interior.
I ordered one of their bestsellers which is the Oreo Cheesecake. It was so affordable - the medium sized drink is just for 70 PHP, with free pearls. What do I think about the drink? It is so-so: It's yum but I feel like they use "powdered" teas instead of brewing the ones from leaves, if you know what I mean. It could be why the price was rather cheap. This is also why the drink is sweet even when I ordered a zero sugar bubble tea (nope the Oreo did not make the tea itself sweet - in case you might make a case for it).
Would I want to go back? Maybe. I am not closing my doors, you know. I think I will try their fruit teas on my next visit. Who knows it might be better than the bubble tea?
