This Outfit Combo Inspired by Netflix's "Do Revenge" school uniforms 🎒🤓
Not a throwback but a real-time update, Hive friends! This outfit combo's what I wore to work today. 😅
I know the title gave it away. Have you watched the movie? It had been on Top 10 in the Philippine list about a few weeks back. My work friend mentioned it one time (as I had not been on Netflix for... awhile lol) when we were having lunch. She suggested that I watch it because she said I'd love the film.
One Friday evening I didn't have any errands or whatnot and what better way to celebrate the FriYay night but to watch a movie, right? 🎥
The plot is INSANE. I love the twist because I DID NOT SEE IT COMING. Seriously. The lead actresses Camila and Maya were SUPERB at their roles and these girls should be given the credit they deserve servin' us some with their characters 👏🙌💯
Aside from its topnotch character selection and its genius plot what I loved about the movie (okay the fashionista in me is typing the next few words you are about to read, be warned) is the uniforms of the characters! I do not know about you dear Hive friends but personally I have a "dream high school uniform" and coming from a public HS I certainly did not achieve that "dream" haha. Imagine my fangirl fashioniztah heart when I saw their COOL uniforms, I was like "I could certainly want to be part of this high school [at least eleven years ago]"
Fast forward to today and "that uniform dream" had come alive HAHAHA. Except it's not in school. It's in a workplace. Plus it is not even Halloween yet with this costume lols.
This fabulous tweed top is a gift from my sister (well I actually asked for it since she did not want it haha). The colourful patterned handwoven skirt is thrifted! When I saw it at the Thrift Store I immediately placed it in my cart. The shoes are from Bershka and the new hair highlights and colours was made with love, from a salon which was just walking distance from our place.
What do you think of this #lewk, though? Can I pass as a "Korean" exchange student in "Do Revenge"? 🤔
Also: if you haven't watched it yet this is your sign to do so. It's fun with a tad crazy lunatic vibe in it. But mostly fun and with some good laughs.
