Cambuhat River and Oyster Farm #BoholBlog04
'Sup, hivers? π
Happy Hump day! It is Wednesday and I love the fact that it is no longer gloomy today - first time since January that it is a sunny day today. Yay! π₯°
For the fourth post of the #Bohol blog series let me take you with me and let's go to Cambuhat River and Oyster Farm!
My friend Gena lives in a town next to Cambuhat so we decided to visit this tourist-y place and find out for ourselves why it is popular among local and international tourists alike. π
Below is what boholtourismph.com has to say about this place:
*Experience a tranquil paddle ride on outrigger boats while observing the vegetation cover of mangroves, tropical palms and vines unique to the rivers habitat. Savor the delectable and sumptuous meal of oysters and quench your thirst with the fresh buko juice and local delicacies.
Do you want to experience a guided tour? The tour fee is only at PHP 300.00 per person.
Package Price below:
1 β 4 pax = Php 1000
5 β 10 pax = Php 850
11 and above = Php 750
What is included in the Tour fee Price? Activities like - boat paddling, visit oyster farm, cultural dance, loom weaving, visit to village, lunch and snacks. It also icludes Guide Fee.*
I really loved my visit here! Lunch with a view like this? Well I surely cannot complain. Gena and I ordered a half kilo of fresh shrimps and a half kilo of their famous and well-loved oysters! The crew who assisted us from riding the small boat to the "nipa hut makeshift houses" to cooking our meal as we were watching - they were so helpful! I truly appreciated their assistance.
If I remember it correctly, Gena and I spent about 350 PHP each^ for the boat ride, the 3-hour rental of the place, the sea foods & soda, and the cooking fees. I was so full because it was a feast and there were only the two of us who ate lol.
^It is pretty decent considering the experience. Do you agree? π₯°
So that was our cambuhat day trip! I'd love to go back when I'm in Bohol. π₯
