How are you, Hive friends?!!

How are you and how's lifeeeeeeee?!💓 It has been quite hectic for me, so sorry I have not been able to post in more than a week! Geez!

Anyhoo, since we have a lot to catch up about the shenanigans of my Baguio trip, thought it is timely to blog about this temple we were able to visit! Its name is Bell Church and it's a usual spot for all the tourists visiting Baguio.🩷

FACTS ABOUT THIS PLACE (from the web):

The Bell Church is a Chinese temple of the Chinese Filipino indigenous religious organization of the same name in La Trinidad, Benguet, Philippines.

The Bell Church was founded on August 4, 1960 in Benguet, when the area was still part of Mountain Province, by Cantonese Chinese immigrants from Canton, China (now Guangzhou)led by Ng Pee.

In 1954, he first preached in a dining hall of a restaurant but eventually transferred the place of worship to his residence along the Kilometer 6 mark in La Trinidad, due to increasing number of devotees. Then known as the "Chinese Buddhist Temple", the temple's membership is composed of primarily ethnic Chinese farmers. Membership continued to grow that the temple had to moved again to its present site along the Kilometer 3 mark in the 1960s and has since then became known as the "Bell Church". With support from the local Chinese community, the house in the current site was converted to a temple.

-end-

Since we were on scheduled time for the tour, my friends and I were only able to be in the temple for a good thirty minutes. The place was huge! We were unable to go up the stairs since we figured we didn't have that much time until we head out for our next destination.

The view from up there though! With all these little houses on the hill and the cold breeze will - I wanted for the time to stand still. Just. This. This moment. It was truly precious.

Aaah. Now I miss this trip and my friends all the more! Hehe. Happiest Friday again dear friends and enjoy the long weekend (for all the Pinoys out there!)🤍🤍🤍
