Beautiful Succulents! β¨
Circa 2017 - This was the time I was introduced to the beautiful plants that are called succulents. π There was a Local Market Pop-Up at Cebu Provincial Capitol's grounds and everyone was invited to check it out. Basically the vendors who gathered in their stalls came from different parts of the province, all the way from up North and down South. I loved that each vendor offered/ sold a variety of items and food!
One local vendor that has literally caught my eye (and my heart) was the one who sold all these beauties! Way back in 2017 I was not so keen on plants and all & I was uninterested - simply because our house was small and we do not have any space for a garden whatsoever. But when I saw these succulents I had a shift in perspective. So yep I bought one plant and my colleague also one bought - and it did make our office brighter!
(I actually learned a hack wherein if my eyes tire from too much computer, I look away from the screen, look at the green succulent for about 5 to 10 minutes, and then I feel refreshed and ready to take on more computer radiation from working haha! I learned this from an article I read online that if your eyes tire from too much screen time, it's best to look at something green like trees or plants. It's therapeutic to so do. And for me it works!)
I love looking at these plants - their range of colours seem to mesmerize me of some sort. These are enchanting indeed. By the way, it was during this Pop-Up Market that I learned more about these succulents and even one of my workmates is actually collecting them - fantastic! She shared to us that these plants need lots of sun and not so much water - because if you overwater they may die faster than per usual! So the secret was to not water 'em too much and place them in a location where the sun can give it nutrients. And that is what we did when we bought two of these babies. I was happy that my succulent lived for over eight months, considering that on weekends I do not tend to it because I am not in the office.
My particular favourites were the moon cacti because their colours and shapes were so distinct! Don't you think so?
Anyway, how about you? Do you also love succulents? If so, which are your favourites? I'd love to know! β¨

It's their energy you are getting! hahahhah. That seems to be a smart hack!
Now that makes more sense~!! That's why it's always a helpful hack haha :D It's really nice to have plants in the office though - highly recommended
I used to have a lot of plants in my room but after moving to a different house I don't have that much space in my new room for plants. but i think i should consider getting succulents too.
