It had been several years since I had walked the streets of Santiago de Cuba. Family reasons made me visit that city again. Walking through its streets for me is like a trip to the past, you can breathe an ancient atmosphere, full of history and traditions. In every corner you can see the colonial architecture mixed with the influence of African culture. The rich heritage of this city is enormous. Life in its streets bustles with the sound of street music, the aroma of its cuisine and the celebration of popular festivities. Hacía varios años que no caminaba por las calles de Santiago de Cuba. Motivos familiares hicieron que visitara nuevamente esa ciudad. Recorrer sus calles para mí es como un viaje al pasado, se respira un ambiente antiguo, lleno de historia y tradiciones. En cada esquina se puede observar la arquitectura colonial mezclada con la influencia de la cultura africana. La riqueza patrimonial de esta ciudad es enorme. La vida en sus calles bulle con el sonido de la música callejera, el aroma de sus cocinas y la celebración de festividades populares.
