THE BUGGY JOHN DOER MADE๐
A few years back while I had a lot of time on my hands, I decided to build something for my kiddos. So I did just that.
I co-owned an automotive shop and had a couple extra cars. One was a a Police Interceptor. A quick and fun car, yes. But I thought why not rip it apart and make an open air buggy?๐ The car originally looked like this one...

It took about 6 months to build our buggy but the kids loved it and it's finally out at the homestead! It had been being stored at the town house but we missed it and so we went and got her.
*She has a way to go to be completely done, but we still have fun in her!๐
CEDAR SIDING A GO!!
My neighbor has a bunch of cedar siding that he made with his sawmill. I thought it looked amazing, and I'm going forward with installing it.
off the light to go to sleep, I could hear scratching noises near me. But I would turn the light on at each time there was nothing to be seen.
Until I realized the noises were coming from above me and when I turned on the light while looking in that direction this is what I saw...
*At first I thought it was a spider...
*...but I got closer, and realized it was a little Brown Bat.๐
*So I rounded him up into a little glass jar and set him lose outside.
*He hung out with me outside for a little while...but when Simba saw him, he wanted to eat the little bat, and he flew off.
OUR AMAZING GRASS!๐
After a couple years of attempting to get the grass to grow, I have finally suceeded!!!๐ฅณ๐ฅณ๐ฅณ I even had to mow it for the first time ever.
*Pretty awesome isn't it?๐
THE HOMESTEAD'S FIRST FENCE
A fence is being built and it going pretty good. It will be in the pasture part of the homestead and will be used to keep animals in. And that starts by making sure it's straight. To accomplish this we use a string and stretch it from one end to the other.
*As seen above I hold it in place with a stake.
*And there is a straight line ran right on the property line.
As always, thanks for stopping by and taking time out to join us on our adventures! We send our love and best wishes to each of you and ask you to please try to remember the small and frail folks out there.
