Last of Us begins with a simple Prologue, with no collectibles or much to explain. After the cutscene, get out of bed. You can browse the room, but there's not much to see. Open the door and go downstairs. Before that, you can enter Joel's room if you want to watch TV and watch a short cutscene. Once downstairs, head towards the kitchen and pick up the phone from the counter. Go in the opposite direction, leaving the patio door on your right, and go through the half-open doors to watch a cutscene.

When you regain control of your character, you have to complete a QTE to abandon the car. Then, run through the streets. You must avoid both obstacles and other... "people" as you follow Tommy through the streets. Watch out for the QTE after entering the alley. After the bar sequence, you have to continue along the shattered piece of fence lit by a streetlight in front of you. Be careful, if you don't hurry, one of those things will catch you and you'll die.

Don't stop running at any point. After passing the crashed ambulance, climb up the hill for a cutscene. No, there's no way this will end any other way, because this is The Last of Us and it's an extremely cruel world. After the harsh cutscene, Chapter 1: Quarantine Zone will begin.

Last of Us comienza con un Prólogo simple, sin coleccionables ni mucho que explicar. Tras la secuencia, sal de la cama. Puedes curiosear por la habitación, pero no hay mucho que ver. Abre la puerta y baja las escaleras. Antes, puedes entrar en el cuarto de Joel si quieres, para ver la tele y una pequeña secuencia. Una vez abajo, ve en dirección a la cocina y recoge el teléfono de la encimera. Ve en dirección contraria, dejando a tu derecha la puerta del patio, y cruza las puertas entreabiertas para ver una secuencia.

Cuando recuperes el control de tu personaje, tienes que completar una QTE para abandonar el coche. Después corre por las calles. Debes evitar tanto los obstáculos como a otras... "personas" mientras sigues a Tommy por las calles. Ojo a la QTE tras entrar al callejón. Después de la secuencia del bar, tienes que seguir por el trozo destrozado de valla iluminado por una farola que tienes delante. Cuidado, si no te das prisa, una de esas cosas te atrapará y morirás

No dejes de correr en ningún momento. Tras pasar la ambulancia estrellada, sube por la colina para ver una secuencia. No, no hay manera de que esto termine de otra manera, porque esto es The Last of Us y es un mundo extremadamente cruel. Tras la dura secuencia, comenzará el Capítulo 1: Zona de cuarentena.
