Tatiana Blayde Gets Personal

Mylor Crowling is most suitable for Up Close & Personal ruleset and can be every opponent's nightmare in such a ruleset that always seems unfair.

In most cases, I don't even watch the fight since I know I am going to end up as the loser. So a win over Mylor Crowling even against a level 1 summoner is still worth celebrating.

Up Close & Personal: Only monsters with melee attacks may be used in battles.

In addition to the Thorns, my opponent showed up with 2 magic attacking cards, it wasn't an easy victory, thanfull Uriel held the frontline impressively well.

Battle Lineup

I opted for URIEL THE PURIFIER as my Tank because of the Recharge ability that makes it attack every other round, in a battle where every attack from my monsters take -2 damage Uriel was a good fit for this fight also because of the Heal and Flight abilities. And it turned out I made a good choice which resulted in a victory for me and my Guild.

I was expecting Mylor Crowling as my opponent so MARISOL CONTUMA had it bad from the second position with the Reach ability that enables it to attack from the second spot.

It got some good attacks in a gainst the opponent's Tank but unfortunately was eliminated in the 6th round.

I had VULGUINE in the third spot in my lineup so that it can gain some health with its Scavenger ability, though it ended up as a spectator rather but with increased health.

The low health of TATIANA BLAYDE always makes it a challenge for me to use, but in this fight, she was very useful with the Range attacks as she increase in stats following every eliminated opponent due to he Bloodlust ability.

While Uriel held up the frontline, Tatiana did well with attacks from range.

CELESTIAL HARPY occupies the fifth spot in my line with Flight and Opportunity abilities. I lost Harpy in the fourth round, though it was able to lunch attacks that benefited my lineup.

I had DJINN CHWALA placed at my backline because of the Thorns ability it has. I expected Sneak attacks but it turned out my opponent had other plans. So Djinn Chwala also watched as the friendly team in the frontline fought for victory.
