We are currently in winter and it's dark from 6 pm already. Though I live in Christchurch, which has many beaches but the sun only rises over Christchurch and sets in the Westcoast.

So while I was in the Westcoast last week, I had to drive to Greymouth and back to Westcoast which was 1:30hr drive, I was opportuned to see sunset over the ocean which was quite an amazing site.

I raced against the sun to find a safe stopping place. It was crazy 🤪 but the photos were the best I could do as I drove and stopped in different spots on State Highway 6.

The Westcoast is quite beautiful 👌🏾

Yes, they are gone now. Time to catch up and rest a bit. It’s always hard work hosting visitors. Hahaha 🤣
In 8 days we have to drive the car back to sell later. So a longggggg journey soon with 2 ferries ⛴️ again, this time we try to do it all in 5 days drive. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Yes I can imagine having to keep visitors welcome and make sure they are comfortable at all times is not an easy task.
It sounds like a long drive awaits but am sure it's comes with adventurous activities as well.

Especially when they get older and can’t walk as far as they think they can.
It is a longgggg drive for sure. Will be fun 🤩 let’s hope the adventures are nice and we see a lot. This time we take a different route. So new roads and no snow ⛄️ hahaha 🤣 will be so different in many ways.
