Logs of wood 🪵 a winter necessity in NZ
Even thought it was freezingly cold, and the coldest winter I have ever experienced if compared to my winter experience in South Africa 🇿🇦, I can say I winter in New Zealand 🇳🇿 is beautiful 😍 as I experienced my first snowfall...
One thing I noticed is that wood is of high demand in winter, and people light the fire 🔥 to keep themselves warm.
Even in some motels where I stayed, there was wood 🪵 for lightning the fire 🔥 which my colleagues and I did in freezing Queenstown... 🥶

Yep, the same here… everybody stocked up on wood. Luckily we have our own forest and an supply of wood. 🪵 winter arrived… 1 hour from here the snow is already there. It won’t take long before it reaches us.

Oh wow, what temperatures is it reaching in New Zealand?
It to as low as -4 in Queenstown when I worked there. But am sure places like Invercagil had lower temperatures.
