Last Quarter
For the first time, I am having an outdoor night shift experience. I have worked a lot of night shifts in South Africa πΏπ¦ it was indoors.
In New Zealand π³πΏ I have been doing only outdoor telecoms work and having my first night shift in Springs that still feels like with at 4 degrees Celsius low got me cold but I couldn't ignore the last quarter moon that looked beautiful from above giving us natural light...

Clean air, clean skies with delightful view above, working through the night in colder climate most definitely cannot be fun!

I coped the first night π but the second one was tough, I was like a zombie, cold and just had to keep up.
The moon was a beautiful distraction for me.

When it feels like you can touch it on clear nights dancing above, I don't envy working shifts through the night it messes with your head!
My head was surely messed up but have now recovered except for the fatigue of working long hours, looking forward to the Christmas break.
When you have a gap we can chat just leave a message as per normal. Working long hours here has knocked my socks off me, I simply scrape through days one at a time.
Yes I will hit you up as soon as I have chance for a chat. Take it easy, take breaks and go for a walk.
Yup I try to escape the office as often as I am able, normally to do other chores, need a total break. Beach still out of the question with Ecoli in rivers.....
It seems the fatigue really sets in towards the end of the year for having work hard during the year.
Taking a two or three week break is what is actually needed, modern living of a week off at a time does not give one enough time to fully recover.
