I left the beautiful scenery of Tekapo behind as I continued my drive to Omarama. My colleague passed me at Tekapo when I stopped for photos.

Omarama was the destination, and so we arrived. It was a Sunday travel, and we planned to unpack the trailer on site, which is on top of a mountain.

We got to Omarama and discovered the mountains are covered in snow ❄️ and without driving in snow experience, I was keen to try getting to the top of the mountain.

I didn't even make it a quarter up the distance to the top. I got stuck, and my trailer pulled me back twice, even on 4H and 4L drive engaged.

We eventually realized it wasn't safe to continue and called the task off for the next day...
