Another week of street art contest is here, it has been fun since I have been participating, thanks to the graffiti wall in Benin that makes it easy for me with lots of graffiti to share.

This is my entry for CCC's Street Art Contest #173 and the 23rd series of the longest graffiti wall in Benin.

I like the colors of this mural, exciting things are happening in these paintings, and I can't help but laugh at the lips of the ladies. Those lips stand out.

Especially with the lady selling pineapples, you can't miss her eyes and of course her bums lol!

The guys on the bamboo stick reminded me of a festival in Nigeria when I was younger, I have seen them stand so high on the bamboo stick and used to wonder how they got it right, well I still wonder to date.

Benin is known for motorcycles as their number one means of transportation with the bike men in yellow shirts to identify they are not private, so when you see the motorcycle men with yellow shirts, just wave and they will come to you.

Nice painting of these men with drums, these guys are good with the drums.

Looks like the lady and the schoolboy are attracted to a scene, probably the drum men as they both looking above eye level.
As for the lady, those glasses, those lips surely makes her look like the hottest lady in town.

I like the part when these artists add fun to their painting like above the bus being blown away up in the air...

That looks like a crazy motorcycle ride going on there!

I wonder what the man on the bicycle is carrying in his basket, he looks quite cool and relaxed as he goes on about his day.


A nice painting on the power box, I have seen a few paintings on the power box in Christchurch and I intend to have them photographed when I have the chance.

I like the colors of these paintings, cool and beautiful.

This graffiti is nice and really long, it must have taken a while to draw and a lot of spray paint.

Loads of actions happening in this painting, the blue color at the background is really beautiful. What stood out most for me is the bus in the air :)

Art along this section very descriptive of regional lifestyle, detail in fruit, colours used to highlight flamboyant clothing. Mostly the highlighted sections in between with emblems of antelope, fish, birds or bus floating off with chickens, pig and fruits.

Really a fun part of the wall depicting life as it is!
